I actually do live in a place where sweating is just unavoidable. I've used the Clarins line before with moderately happy results. I've tried all the "regular" deodorant/ antipersperant brands....i. e. : Sure ,Secret, Degree, stc. I was happiest with my Secret for awhile and actually just tried the Clarins on a whim. It worked magnificently. It completely neutralized odor for me and prevented wetness. Definitely worth the price. I've read the other reviews and all I can think is that it depends on body chemistry. But if you're looking for something to really work ....try this. It totally worked for me. I just purchased this two weeks ago and had high hopes that it would be a lot more effective than it was. I paid about £14.
