Clarins Gloss Appeal offers high shine, a sheer, pretty wash of color (in 10 different shades) and a spatula-like sponge that makes for easier application -- a good thing, because it only lasts about five minutes, making multiple applications essential. The shimmer is subtle but you can still feel some glitter grains on lips -- not pleasant. Overall, the gloss is average and its shine factor (which doesn't make lips appear much fuller) isn't reason enough to continuously reapply. For way less cash, you can get a comparable gloss at the drugstore.

      I bought Clarins Gloss Appeal on a trip to Florence. This was one the best purchases I made there. I love this gloss. Its not tacky and sticky like some glosses out there. It gives a high shine and tastes great too. I'll keep buying this. The price is a little high but worth if you like the product. March 30, 2008, 8:35 am

      This gloss looks (and even tastes) good but it doesn't last very long. I don't even take this one when I go out because I would have to be reapplying it every ten minutes! October 1, 2008, 5:18 am

      Awesome Lip Appeal

      Ravishing liquid lip liner with the finest products. I have been using the Clarins line of products for skin care and make up for over 10 years now and I still get carded when I go out. I will be turning 40 in two years. It is a miracle product and I would highly recommend it to anyone! This gloss lasts longer than usual an...d the products they put into their line are so natural and good for your lips. This is a must try! Your local Clarins skin care department gives free facials almost montly at the Malls.... June 11, 2008, 4:33 am
