Yes, the claims are true: "Glossy, oui! Sticky, non!". But these high-shine glosses aren't built for long wear. The small brush makes reapplication slightly difficult, but the bright color is worth the trouble and the stick-free formula means it isn't a hair magnet. Lipstick lovers who are into sheer shades will be pleased with the 18 translucent hues, like pale Nude Beige and berry-pink Rose Angelic.

    Nice subtle color payoff

    I have this in the Beige color and it seems to give off a nice neutral shimmer to any "natural" fleshy shades of lipliners or lipsticks. Your lips but better. Stays put for a few hours but very sticky. March 2, 2008, 11:01 pm

    good brush.

    the brushes for these lip glosses are amazing. there soft and never get all stuck together and gooey. but the gloss is not go good. its very sticky on your lips and feels likes theres something on your lips that isnt lip gloos. June 3, 2008, 6:18 am

    great color and shine

    I got this as a sample at Sephora, and its terrific. I wear it over Mac Spice lip pencil and the greatest nude color on my lips. I reapply with a lip pencil which keeps it from being too sticky. Great shine and color to this gloss. March 26, 2008, 3:15 pm

    Glossy

    I like the colors but the gloss doesn't last long. Its also annoying on windy days when strands of hair get stuck to your lips. February 28, 2008, 10:38 pm

    Great color, but...

    I had two tubes of this gloss. The color on both was great and I loved it. My problem was that the handle on both tubes cracked off and I was unable to open them. I had to throw both away. I haven't bought another one. November 14, 2007, 11:10 am

    Great little find!

    This lip gloss is the mini-version of the Effet 3D, and worth every penny of the $9 I spent. It is tiny though, so don't expect it to last long. It is not too sticky, it's the perfect color for me, and stays on longer than most lip glosses. Plus, I love that it has lip brush, instead of the standard gloss wand. November 12, 2007, 2:59 pm

    I would give it 10 *'s if it did not have the brush applicator. It is not as easy to apply as one with a sponge applicator. As for the gloss itself, I LOVE IT! I have this in Cosmic Rose and it is so pretty and shiny without being sticky. The color is beautiful and it has just enough shimmer. November 12, 2007, 11:56 am

    i have this in beige elastique which is a very shimmery beige colour. i'm not too keen on the brush application as the gloss is quite gloopy and also the smell is a bit too strong for me. it's not as glossy as i would have liked but the colour is definitely noticeable and the packaging is nice November 2, 2007, 11:21 am

    Super Shiny Bourjois Effet 3D Lipgloss

    Best lipgloss for shine and shimmer! Long lasting without a drying effect. Light colors make your underlying lipstick sparkle and glimmer. Love this lipgloss. I wish they had one with some lilac in it though. October 8, 2008, 11:55 am
