Surprisingly Good Coverage
I had been hesitant to try this foundation, feeling that a powder just could not give me the coverage I had with other cream type foundations. I was pleasantly surprised at the coverage and have been really happy with this product. It does provide good coverage without looking heavy or feeling greasy/oily on your skin. I was all excited about makeup that's actually good for you. Well, not for me. Apparently, I'm really allergic to this stuff. It makes my face itch like crazy, and doesn't stop until I've washed every little bit of it off. Bare Minerals offers only the sheerest coverage -- I needed to pile on the foundation for it to cover any of my scars or blemishes, and even then, it didn't look at all natural. It looked like I had taken a huge powder puff and smacked it on my face. I recently gave in and tried Bare Escentuals. I had resisted at first thinking it might dry my skin out. To my surprise and delight, this foundation glides on and leaves my skin silky smooth all day long. It minimizes fine lines and wrinkles and stays on. There is no transfer on clothing or phones! Also, this product helps to keep my oil problems in the "T" zone under control. A good foundation
I have used BareEscentuals foundation for about 2 years. I have very oily skin so this is a great cover for my skin. This is the only foundation that has stayed on even in hot humid weather. Swirl, Buff, Tap Your Way to A Flawless Face
Bare Escentuals is an excellent powder foundation especially if you have large pores or oily skin, like I do. I haven't slept in it nor do I suffer from severe acne, but the product is as good as the creator of it says. Using the kabuki brush, I am able to "swirl, tap, buff" my way to a flawless looking face. If the powder feels heavy on your skin, you probably used too much.
