Another great Burt's Bees product
I love Burt's Bees, but I wasn't fond of their original beeswax lip balm, which makes your lips tingly and cold (not great when it's already cold outside). But I found this alternative very pleasant. I love how soft it makes my lips, without sitting on top like a waxy coating. The pomegranate oil does exactly what it's supposed to by sinking into my lips and replenishing them. Love It!
I am a recent convert from Carmex. After I put Carmex on my lips at night, I found myself reapplying it every 5 minutes or so until I went to sleep because I felt like it I hadn't even put it on. It also dried out my lips. I read an article in a magazine about the moisture in this lip balm and decided to give it a try and boy am I glad I did. Great!
I love this lip balm. It does a great job moisturizing my lips and isn't to thick or sticky. It even gives a nice faint pink sheen when applied. Unfortunately it doesn't contain SPF, which is a big negative for me.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

my daughter took me to the mall when i had horribly painful chapped lips. it was day 3 of using chapstick & i was hurting so bad i wanted to scream. my daughter showed me burts bees & told me i should get some. i just about had a heart attack when i saw the price....$5 for lip balm....u gotta be kidding me. lip balm that i had never even heard of before. i put it back on the display & told my daug...read morehter she was crazy. 20 minutes later we returned to the store where i gave in to the pain & bought the lip balm. now i wont buy anything but burts bees. when they say replenishing...they mean it. after just one application i could feel the moisture going back into my lips. it was very soothing from the get go. and the pomegranate has a wonderful aroma to it....not a medicinal aroma like chapstick. yes it cost $5 but it works & it lasts forever because u dont have to keep applying it every few minutes. i applied it right there in the store & then again 4 hours later & then once more before i went to bed & i woke up with completely healed lips. i swear by this stuff & if u try it...u will too.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Love It!
I absolutely love this product. I don't wear lip balm often and when I did it always felt waxy. This makes my lips feel soft and smooth, and very moisturized. Yummy
I just tried this one after being a Burt's Bees fan for many, many years. While I am a bit concerned about the entire line going too "big" or "cvommercial" after the Clorox buy out, I really do like this product. It works well and tastes good, too! Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil
Well, this stuff is great. It IS Burt's Bees, after all! Long lasting, sheer color, moisturizing to dry,cracked lips. It IS alittle expensive, much more than Chapstick, but it feels great on the lips, lasts quite awhile, and the individual tube will last probably more than a montth, so the price is worth it. I bought this chap stick out of desperation one cold dry winter night at a cracker barrel in Pigeon Forge,Tn. I had left my carmex at home, two hours away in Algood,Tn. I thought it would be amazing being burt's bee's and all. However, it was not. I suppose the citrus nature of the pomegranate actually dries your lips out and slightly burns. I still have the unused tube though in case of emergenc...read morey. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS LIP BALM FOR 6 MONTHS NOW. OH MY GOD!! MY LIPS ARE SO SMOOTH AND SOFT. MY HUSBAND SAYS THAT WHEN HE KISSES ME HE LOVES THE WAY MY LIPS FEEL . I ALSO LOVE THAT IT GIVES YOU A POP OF PINK WHICH I LIKE WHEN I FORGET TO TAKE A LIPSTICK WITH ME. GIVES JUST ENOUGH COLOR AND LOOKS NATURAL,NOT CLOWNISH.
