Really soothing but the smell & taste is off...
I so wanted to love this. I mean it's a Burt's Bees lip product, right? It's just as moisturizing as the other Burt's Bees lip balms you've grown to love but the pomegranate smell and taste is just a little off! This does last longer than other lip balms I've tried and the price is right. Best lip balm ever
I've searched for ages to find the perfect lip balm and I've finally found it! I carry this with me EVERYWHERE. It soothes my lips and makes them so soft, while adding a slight hint of color. I've been using either this or the regular beeswax balm for more than a decade. I'm a nurse and the hospital is very dry so you need something that is going to work really well. I find that this works best in the summer, when the cold and wind isn't necessarily a factor, but the dry air of the hospital warrants a great moisturizing balm. If you need something for lips that are already chapped and/...read moreor cracked then you may want to use the beeswax balm. Keep in mind. this balm does not contain the same ingredients as the regular beeswax. So if you just want a nice moisturizing balm to maintain your lips (and your lips aren't super dry and cracked already) then this is great. But if you're out in the elements (sun, wind, cold, etc) then this wouldn't be the one for you. Also... I find that this adds the tiniest bit of color to my lips. Just a tiny bit. I like this lip balm, though it's not my favorite from the Burt's Bees line. This lipbalm is EXTREMELY moisturizing. When I wear this, my lips feel soo soft. Smells Good
I literally put it on and my lips felt smooth and moisturized for some reason some tiny pieces came off but thats fine. It smells pretty good it is definitely better than chapstick which dried up my lips in the winter i just wish i would have bought this back then. I'm sorry but there is nothing I like about this and now I know why my mom gave it to me after having tried it once. It smells bad, it tastes worse, it tingles.. but not in a good way.. and I really don't feel it does any better a job at nourishing lips as the much cheaper Chapstick. My Favorite Lip Balm
I've been using this since my senior year of high school, which I originally used on a whim because my Granny brought it to me after complaining that my sickness made me dehydrated and as a result my lips we're parched, like Sahara desert dry. It really soothed them and then I just kept using this. I use it constantly, and felt strange without when I ran out. Give Lips a Tint
The lip balm gives your lip a slight light reddish tint, which is nice. This lip balm is very moisturizing, but the scent could be improve. The pomegranate oil is a really nice touch to the balm.
