Just like other Dove body wash, this one lathers very well, and it is indeed rich and creamy, but it does not make me feel like showering in shaving cream. It is very moisturizing, so this is probably not for those who want to have a squeaky clean feeling after shower. I like Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash with NutriumMoisture slightly more than this one because the Sensitive one is lightly scented.
