An Absolutely Luscious Body Treat . . .
From the first moment I smelled the Heavenly, subtle mix of herbs, spices, and fruits in Rainbath's Original "Refreshing Shower and Bath Gel," it has remained a fixture in my shower. It soothes the senses while it cleans and softens my skin, creating bubbles galore. Does that mean that I don't try other bath and shower gels? OF COURSE NOT! I sample everything I can get my hands on, out of pure, hedonistic curiosity. Last year, our local drugstores had travel sizes of Dove's "Go Fresh Cool Moisture Body Wash with Nutrium Moisture (Cucumber and Green Tea Scent)." I couldn't resist and grabbed a few (my husband is a worse shower gel addict than I am). Before purchasing, I opened and sniffed. Yum! I was greeted by the most delectable, fresh, sweet smell of homegrown cucumbers and melons (melons?), perfect year-round, but especially in the summer months. What I experienced with this body wash was unique--the formula is exceptionally thick and creamy, unlike any other I have ever used. It lathers very well and leaves you squeaky-clean. Be warned--you may find yourself playing with the whipped froth longer than you think! You won't need an additional shaving product with Dove. My razor was able to glide over my silky skin and wisk away every unwanted hair with no cuts or scrapes. The benefits remain--the delightful scent stays for hours, and skin benefits accrue with every use. Dove's Body Wash put an end to the white, dry skin which often lingered on my shins and elbows. I love it! There is ONE AND ONLY ONE reason why I am not rating this a perfect "ten." The formula is so rich that, after only a few uses, I have a hard time getting it out of the opening. I have to add a little water to dilute it. Perhaps Dove would do better to add a pump top. By the way, visit Dove's home page and print a coupon for their products. Smells great! This body wash is one of my favorites and I love getting it in the value packs, the scent stays on skin and leaves me feeling very clean and really does perk me up. The body wash is thick and you only need a little because it goes a long way. Great for the morning!
This Grapefruit & Lemongrass body wash smells really good, refreshing and invigorating, and it does not smell like citrus scented cleaning products. It lathers and cleanses well. It is aromatic as Bath & Body Works' signature shower gel, but this one is more moisturizing, and of course, more affordable. Good for summer!
The light and sweet scent is the highlight of this product. It does not give deep moisture as some other body wash items do. Therefore, I keep this one for summer. If you want to cleanse and refresh, this is a good body wash. So many Dove products come and go quick. disappointed
I didn't like this bodywash at all, It's way too thick of a formula. I feel like I'm not really getting clean with this. It just feels like a pile of goo that you squirt out of a bottle. The scent? Overpowering, not light and "fresh" as it states. I really didn't enjoy how much this stung. I have eczema, and this irritated my skin. Makes me HAPPY, keeps my dry skin soft
I really, really love this body wash. I have used Dove Body Wash since it came out and the new nutrium line is really great. When the Go Fresh line came out I immediately fell in love with the scents but was disappointed that they weren't as moisturizing as the Cream Oil or Deep Moisture types. Then my dreams came true when not only did they make the Go Fresh body washes with nutrium moisture but issued a new scent, Pomegranate and Lemon Verbena. IN LOVE with this. The smell, no kidding, literally lifts my mood and it is the same wonderful, moisture-rich Dove formula that is a shower staple.
