My husband usually uses Head and Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo, but he tried the whole bottle of this H&S intensive treatment shampoo recently. He concludes that he did not feel and see any significant difference from his regular H&S Classic Clean Shampoo. In other words, both helped to eliminate dandruff. Nevertheless, this shampoo dried out his hair a little more, and as for the scent, he prefer the regular one. Since none of us suffers from severe dandruff, I cannot judge whether this shampoo is more effective against severe dandruff than regular Head and Shoulders. However, for my husband's mild to moderate dandruff problem, the regular H & S Classic Clean Shampoo is good enough. Reduced my dandreff, but I felt like it dried my hair out.
