Try their regular shampoo first....
My husband usually uses Head and Shoulders Classic Clean Shampoo, but he tried the whole bottle of this H&S intensive treatment shampoo recently. He concludes that he did not feel and see any significant difference from his regular H&S Classic Clean Shampoo. In other words, both helped to eliminate dandruff. Nevertheless, this shampoo dried out his hair a little more, and as for the scent, he prefer the regular one. Since none of us suffers from severe dandruff, I cannot judge whether this shampoo is more effective against severe dandruff than regular Head and Shoulders. However, for my husband's mild to moderate dandruff problem, the regular H & S Classic Clean Shampoo is good enough. Animal Testing

It really stops the itch
I've been usuing this shampoo for a week, I was previously using the regular Head and Shoulders 2 in 1. I like this one much better. The regular H&S shampoo did prevent dandruff for the most part, but my scalp was still always itchy and my hair looked and felt dry. This shampoo finally relieved the itch as well as preventing dandruff and leaves my hair soft and silky, I do use a seperate conidtioner afterwards but I haven't changed that. its kind of "intense"

Reduced my dandreff, but I felt like it dried my hair out. No more embarrassing flakes
This works. I have tried so many shampoos, including classic Head and Shoulders, but this one is the best. It gets rid of flakes and itchiness. It works so well that I only have to use it twice a week. (I use clarifying shampoo the other days.) Really Great Shampoo
This is a great shampoo, dandruff or otherwise. I just washed my hair with this stuff, and wow! My head doesn't feel itchy (although to be honest, this was my first time using it, so I can't give a true testimonial on how this gets rid of tough dandruff). After I washed my hair, I let it dry naturally, and this shampoo made my natural curl come through and defined my layers. The smell isn't necessarily bad, but the smell is strong and rather manly.
