Well worth it!

by casjen57 (28 reviews)
I love Jane Iredale products. This base goes on easily, has great coverage and natural sunscreen. I have to use a very light touch with it, however, or it tends to look chalky or cakey. However if you use a brush it seems to go on lighter than the puff provided. This is relatively expensive, but lasts a LONG time, so it's worth it.10/17/2007

I have worked in the cosmetic an fragrance industry for 22 years, and will not use any thing from the department stores as long as there is Jane Iredale out there! It is one step, goes on, stays on and does not get rancied before I use it all. The base lasts me at least 6 months and I use it every day. I highly recomend it to anyone who uses foundation. Try this, and I bet you will never want to go back to a liquid or a traditonal base. December 12, 2007, 6:18 am

    Best foundation in the world

I've been using Jane Iredale makeup since 2002 when an esthetician told me about it. It's totally non-irritating, and it's amazing how the pressed powder version of jane's mineral foundation leaves so much less shine than the loose kind. I've also tried Bare Escentuals, which is not bad (a little more coverage than Jane),... December 7, 2007, 3:55 pm I've been using Jane Iredale makeup since 2002 when an esthetician told me about it. Fabulous Makeup!

You apply it once in the morning, and you're good for the entire day. Even though this makeup is pricey, it lasts for a long time, making it definitely worth it. Wonderful coverage and a great selection of shades. December 9, 2007, 1:36 pm

It has taken me years and thousands of dollars, but I can truthfully say my search for the best product is over!

    by Bonnierae (3 reviews)
I found Jane Iredale PurePressed Base! My skin has responded beautifully, it has never looked better, and radiant would be the keyword here. At the end of the day, as I face I mirror, I am so pleased to say that the same clean skin coverage is still doing its job. To say I am a fan is an understatement! December 5, 2007, 6:39 am

      • A pressed mineral powder base with broad-spectrum sun protection. Water-resistant and highly pigmented, PurePressed Base applies evenly and easily, providing long-lasting, gorgeous coverage. Formulated with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, it gives broad-spectrum, chemical-free UV protection, helping to protect the skin from sunburn, sun spots, and even skin cancer. It acts as a concealer, foundation, powder and sunscreen all in one, cutting down the amount of time you spend applying your makeup. Because the minerals reflect light, it is almost impossible to see where your makeup ends and your skin begins. Oil-, talc-, colorant- and paraben-free.
