I have felt like Aveda products are much more hype than they are substance. I like to use a paddle brush when I blow dry so I can pull my hair taut to get it smoother, as well as dry large portions of hair at once, but I didn't think that this brush was superior to other, comparable brushes that cost much less. I liked that it had natural bristles and was made of wood, but you don't have to pay the Aveda price tag to get that.
