I have felt like Aveda products are much more hype than they are substance. I like to use a paddle brush when I blow dry so I can pull my hair taut to get it smoother, as well as dry large portions of hair at once, but I didn't think that this brush was superior to other, comparable brushes that cost much less. I liked that it had natural bristles and was made of wood, but you don't have to pay the Aveda price tag to get that. I didn't think it was really worth it. — 8 months, 3 weeks ago

Lasts forever

Such a Treat

It's such a treat to use this brush. A bigger treat is to have somebody else brush your hair with this brush. Before a haircut, my stylist always gives me a head and neck massage and a relaxing massage with the hairbrush. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. — 4 years ago

I got this as a present from my hairstylist friend. It's the best brush I have ever had. And I mean it. My hair is baby-thin and tangles all the time. I always had trouble brushing it out, all the brushes would just rip most of my hair out, it was like a nightmare! With this brush I feel like I have a regular person hair. Multipurpose

I use this brush to blow my hair out after washing it. I have AA hair and this brush combs through it without ripping and tearing my hair. It also gets my hair semi straight while blow drying it. I bought this brush years ago & it's so great my Mom stole it from me. She had bought a cheaper brush & there was no comparison. In fact, eventually the handle of the cheaper brush broke off because my hair is so thick & heavy, but my Mom is still using this one & it looks great.
