  A good bet, but a little pricey

  I have long fine hair and I find that this conditioner smooths and softens very well. It helped my hair regain its healthy appearance after a long period of heat damage from my blow dryer. Like all Aveda products, it also smells great and makes you feel like you are at the spa. The only drawback is I did have to use a b...ig blob each time to get the desired conditioning effect, and for $26 for a small tube, it gets used up quickly. There are other great deep conditioners on the market that are more cost effective, so save this one for when you want to "pamper" your hair and feel extra special. March 16, 2008, 6:29 am

  Brand New Hair

  When you read reviews online and people are saying it gave them a brand new head of hair, BELIEVE IT! It's amazing, so much that I skimp on this so that I can always have this on hand. When I deep conditioned with it, I was so taken aback by the softness and shine that my hair had. My damage was virtually gone and I am so g...lad I went to Aveda and splurged on this.   Always works

  There is something about the smell of this stuff that I really like, even if it is a little hippie-ish. It works. I don't use it all the time, but I do add it in to my routine every once in a while to shake things up for my hair. February 25, 2008, 3:43 pm

  Can't Live Without It

  My stylist used it once on me and I have been hooked ever since. I use a flat iron a lot and it really helps bring back moisture without coating my hair with wax and all that other junk. Since I have long hair and the product is a bit more expensive, I only use it on the bottom half of my hair (every day use). This makes it... last a lot longer for me. When I want to give my hair extra treatment, I apply it all over and wrap my hair in a towel for about 20 minutes. LOVE IT!!! February 15, 2008, 11:18 am

  I use this treatment once a week, along with the shampoo and conditioner. Since doing so, my hair is stronger, thicker, and in the best shape ever. I've noticed that heat damage isn't as noticeable and I have far less breakage! October 15, 2007, 1:37 pm

  I've Been Using it For Over A Decade

  and it hasn't let me down yet. This product is a staple in my hair care regiment. I have thick hair, which is naturally wavy and can frizz. This conditioner thoroughly conditions my hair, moisturizes it, softens it, makes it shine. It does not weigh the hair down. It instantly unravels the tangles in my hair without muc...h effort. I use other conditioners too, but this is my regular one and the others are alternates for a switch. Excellent for repairing hair that has been damaged by summer elements and activities, also steadily rebuilds hair that has been damaged from too much styling. It's over ten bucks, but it delivers.   Can do better with less money

  I expected this to be a much thicker treatment, but it is rather creamy. Unfortunately, I am not crazy about the fragrance. Unlike other Aveda haircare products, I notice a bit chemical-like smell in this treatment. Anyway, I leave this stuff in my hair a bit longer than I would my regular conditioner for deeper conditionin...g. It leaves my hair smooth and soft, but not more than some of my favorite treatment products. With less money, you can get a better result with Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask or Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner. November 6, 2009, 11:35 am

  PERFECTION!

  my hair is thick and has a ton of volume which I hate and this treatment is the only thing I've tried that will flatten it out and leave it looking smooth and perfect. Conditioners and other treatments have left my hair greasy and still poofy, but this treatment works for me perfectly. It's my number one favorite hair car...e product. February 2, 2008, 9:56 am
