Great Product for color treated hair
I use this after dying my hair. This really keeps my hair in good condition and stops split ends. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 5 people said helpful

Aveda
I don't know if I can stress enough to you, dear Totalbeauty readers, what a complete and total waste of money this product was. I used this back when my hair was very damaged, hoping to get the miraculous results that it promised. I used it in conjunction with the all of the aveda line's shampoo and styling products, so that I could reap the greatest amount of benefits. However, this product was a complete letdown. Even though I followed the instructions to the very letter, I think that it left my hair even worse off than before. First thing about it-- the scent absolutely reeks. I was used to the herbal, natural scent that all of this brand's products have, but this particular one just stinks to high heaven. It smells like hot garbage. The next thing that I did not like about it is the overall texture of the cream itself. It had a very watery feeling to it, where I would hope that a deep conditioner would be creamy and rich feeling. When I used this, no matter how long i left it sitting on my poor head, it did not give any remedying result that I could see. It took a very long time for me to rinse out completely, and my hair felt even more dried out that it had before the use of this conditioner. In addition to the disappointing outcome, I of course was left with the residual bad smell that would linger until I washed my hair again. I felt completely disappointed and ripped off after using this conditioner, and that is why I rated it at only one star. I would not recommend that anyone try this, especially if your hair really needs help and healing like mine did, because you absolutely will not get that from this leave in treatment. I would say that you should try just about anything else instead. — 3 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 5 people said helpful

A wonderful treatment
I love the damage remedy treatment, it works better the longer you leave it on. It makes my hair feel stronger healthier and manageable after using it. A must have! — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 4 people said helpful

Can do better with less money
I expected this to be a much thicker treatment, but it is rather creamy. Unfortunately, I am not crazy about the fragrance. Unlike other Aveda haircare products, I notice a bit chemical-like smell in this treatment. Anyway, I leave this stuff in my hair a bit longer than I would my regular conditioner for deeper conditioning. It leaves my hair smooth and soft, but not more than some of my favorite treatment products. With less money, you can get a better result with Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask or Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 6 people said helpful

Not much better than my regular conditioner
This deep conditioner has the earthy Aveda smell that I love and it makes my hair look and feel good, compliments of the quinoa protien. Still, I only gave it six stars because my regular conditioner does the same thing, and for a lot less money. After using this weekly for three months, I didn't notice that any damage had actually been repaired. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Smells Bad, Doesn't Work
i went to a high end salon to get a blow out...and they used this. I saw nothing special about my hair that day, but they pushed and pushed until I gave in and bought this product. One of the worst beauty investments that I've ever made. Not only did this product smell really bad...but it just didn't work. It wasn't thick and luxurious like a regular deep conditioner...it was somewhat thin and didn't feel good on my hair at all. I'm not sure how this product gets any good reviews...my hair isn't that damaged and I've never color treated it, yet it did not look good at all after using. I gave it one week...but no, this product never worked. Total waste. — 1 month, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Aveda Damage Remedy
I like this, my friend gave a sample and it works well on my ends where the damage is located. Apply when the hair is damp. I wish it detangles too. — 3 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 4 people said helpful

Aveda Damage Remedy
I literally fried my hair with home hair coloring & a straightening tool that didn't have a temp control. My hairdresser recommended this product. I used it religiously ever time a washed my hair (3-4x per wk).Within 4-6 months, my hair was healed. Now I use it at least once a wk to maintain my hair's health. The shampoo & leave-in conditioner work great, too. — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

AVEENO
I BOUGHT THE DEEP AVEENO COND. AND WASN'T VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULT'S. I THOUGHT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORTH THE COST WHICH WAS AROUND $27.00. — 7 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 3 people said helpful

Great treatment
I have fine hair that is dry and brittle from years of coloring and heat-styling. I had about given up on the hope that anything could "cure" the inevitable broken ends and flyaways. Then I tried Damage Remedy and am now a total convert. My hair is smoother, shinier and more manageable than I thought possible! I can't recommend this or any of the other products in this line highly enough for anyone with damaged hair. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful
