This balm is great for heels and elbows after exfoliating. Although it is thick and concentrated, it spreads better than petroleum jelly or ointment. I don't like this for my feet- the Vaseline soaks right thru my socks and not into my skin! I do however recommend for dry skin elsewhere on the body- elbows, knees, wherever it is dry.
