Shick Leaves My Legs Slick . . .
I hate hair on my legs. I hate it so badly that I began shaving my legs with my dad's straight-edge razor in fourth grade (you can imagine the results). Everyone wanted to know why I was wearing woolen knee socks in the summer! I am quite fickle when it comes to razors. I don't want to sport the hundreds of nicks and cuts I did at age ten. I expect total hair removal and smooth, silken legs (and underarms). Shick's "Quattro" has proved a real winner for me! I like the four blades, as they ensure a thorough job. I either use a shaving cream or a truly lathering body wash, and it glides like satin on my skin. I still haven't mastered the art of shaving perfectly, and I find that Shick reduces my chances of cutting myself. It seems to cut down on my need to shave quite as often. Good razor
This is my favorite razor. Now, I don't know much about razors because I always buy the cheap, disposable ones (I'm a poor college student), and this one is a pretty good one, and affordable (about nine dollars at Walmart with four blades). I first bought it when I showed my best friend how bumpy my legs were after shaving with disposable razors and she told me to buy this brand since she also has sensitive skin like mine. It lasts forever and the blades are sharp. It doesn't give me razor burn as others do. I don't need to do a second pass with this one. I like to color and it is easy to handle. But you do have to use a very good shaving cream because the time I didn't it cut myself. Difficult to clean
This razor has no slip grip handle, and gives pretty good shaving results. However, the fours blades are extremely difficult to clean, and easily clogged up with hair. The cartridge comes off occasionally so be careful.
