Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray Reviews

Blandi
Wow...what a waste of money. A can doesn't last very long, and all it did was leave a powdery residue on my hair that smelled vaguely of lemon Lysol. And...expensive! Sometimes I wonder if the Allure Beauty Editors have ever even seen the products they give awards to, as I have never found myself agreeing with any of them. This product is awful. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

meh
I got a free deluxe sample of this and honestly, I've tried better. Thank goodness I didn't pay anything for this, because at the price one would have paid for this wouldn't be worth it. I've tried other dry shampoos that cost a fraction of the price and didn't make me look like I had dandruff. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Dry shampoo
I wasn't very impressed with this dry shampoo. I felt like my hair still looked greasy but I just flew through the bottle way too quickly trying to get clean hair. I wouldn't waste my money on this product again. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Returned
I purchased this at Sephora back when there weren't nearly as many dry shampoos on the market to choose from. Of the two or three Sephora carried at the time, this looked like the best one. When I sprayed this on my hair the smell was really strong. I didn't mind the scent itself but it was really overpowering. It absorbed the oils in my hair and fluffed it up well enough but after just the first use, the aerosol bottle leaked product like crazy. For a product so expensive, you can't afford to let any of it go to waste! I got one more use out of it before the bottle was empty. Luckily, Sephora has a good return policy and I was able to get a refund for this. It may have been faulty packaging on just the one, but I doubt it. For such an expensive product, I would expect that the company would have put more effort into the packaging to ensure that the precious product doesn't just leak out. If you want to try a dry shampoo from Oscar Blandi...even though there are many, many other options out there now, stick with the one they have in powder form. — 7 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

First dry shampoo experience
I picked this up at Sephora. If you have fine hair, his product has amazing abilities in adding volume, especially if you use it on hair that hasn't been washed in a day or two. I have stick straight, fine hair and I was really impressed with the difference. I'm only giving it 6 stars because it did not dissipate/absorb oil as well as I expected. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Hot Mess
I am not a big fan of dry shampoos. They are messy & usually don't work. That is exactly what this does for my hair...nothing. Don't waste your money. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Meh.
The smell is okay. The white eventually brushes out. (I have dark hair.) it's okay for a reset, getting the bedhead out. But it doesn't make my hair feel clean. It felt dirty, plus a bit dry and, well, crunchy. Not a great feeling. This makes it strictly for unavoidable emergencies. I'm glad I only bought a trial size. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Oscar Blandi Powder is best!
I agree that a lot of the sprays run out after only a few good uses! However, the Oscar Blandi pronto powder shampoo will last me up to a year! It smells like lemons, and goes on with a fine powder. I rub it into my roots and it absorbs the oily instantly. There is no need to blowdry out the roots afterwards. I've written a full review on my blog: ameliasgirlfriends I was able to find a bottle at Winners for only $12 as well! Sort of...
...not okay. Most time I used it, it did just enough that I could wear my hair in a ponytail and not look like a total grease ball. Product smells bad and when I got to the bottom of the can it started to make me cough and my lungs hurt. Not good! — 10 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
