  Great for skin that can't make up its mind!

  I have skin that is somehow simultaneously oily and flaky, so finding products is a nightmare. This cleanser feels oily out of the tube, but it does a terrific job without leaving any residue. It leaves my skin feeling revived! It is the only product I can use without having to immediately run to grab the toner and moisturi...   The absolute best cleanser for hard-to-please skin

  I've tried many, many facial cleaners in my time, and nothing has come close to Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser. It has the best smell ever, like all- natural fresh squeezed orange juice, and does amazing things to my skin! I've got skin that is rarely the same two days in a row- it's combination oily and nothi... It has the best smell ever, like all- natural fresh squeezed orange juice, and does amazing things to my skin! I've got skin that is rarely the same two days in a row- it's combination oily and nothing else has made it quite so radiant. It's a boost of moisture without overdrying, and doesn't leave a residue. Most people with oily skin try to battle it with harsh, overdrying soaps, but that just makes your skin produce more oil.This soap give me clean, fresh moisture that my skin soaks in before I'm finished towl drying! Removes makeup and best of all contains no harmful ingredients that most skin care lines do! I love this product, and would recommend it for any type of skin. April 24, 2008, 11:23 am

  This is one of the first Burt Bee's products I ever brought home, and boy am I happy I did! It cleans away make up and daily grim with ease. The texture is a bit odd to me, but I've gotten used to it. The texture combined with it's lovely orange smell, well, it just smells and feels like I'm washing my face with gummy be...   a fave facial cleanser

  usually i favor a quick wipedown with a prepackaged cloth make-up remover for my minimal pre-bedtime routine. but when my face is feeling a bit dry, i make the time for this facial cleanser. i agree w/ the other review that somehow, this magically works on my combo skin (oily t-zone but still dry cheeks and occasionally f...   Can it get any better?

  I am in love with this stuff and plan to go buy of case of it so I NEVER run out! It is so gentle on my ULTRA sensitive skin and no more burning and dryness from suds (unnecessary). The smell, the feel - it is ALL good. Who knew Burt's Bees did a skincare line? It is TRULY natural, effective (beyond words), AND so afford...   Liked the old formula

  This was my HG for years until they changed the formula a couple years back -- went from the metal tube to the current incarnation. It still smells lovely, but it just got too oily for me. Just not the same. :-( I moved to the soap bark cleanser and have liked that, but I do miss the glow of my old orange cleanser. May 24, 2008, 8:41 am

  Good and bad....

  The good part is the smell. I love the smell of citrus and this is quite strong and lovely. The bad part is that it didn't do anything positive for my skin. To be fair my skin is quite oily and tends to breakout so I may not be the best judge of this. May 14, 2008, 6:46 pm

  Excellent cleanser

  Unlike traditional cleansers loaded with harsh detergetents, this one is made with all-natural/pure ingredients as with all Burt's products. The smell is essence of orange X10. It does feel greasy when you apply it, but amazingly it rinses right away and leaves only clean, moisturized feeling. March 2, 2008, 9:37 am

  too oily for me

  I really enjoyed the smell but that was about it. I found this product to be too thick and oily for my skin (combo/oily). I would recommend trying this if you have normal to dry skin. And if you like something that foams you should not try this, it kinda felt like spreading on vaseline on my face. February 15, 2008, 12:30 pm
