Still sweat
I could still smell myself (after a hard workout), and still sweat...a lot. I won't repurchase. Actually, I stopped using it all together and keep it as a backup if I run out completely. Smelly
Oh sure, at first it smells great. But then somehow by the middle of the day you find yourself asking, "What's that smell? Hm, oh my - IT'S ME." And then it really is pitsville. Maybe I sweat too much, or maybe my nose is too strong, or maybe I'm not a raging vegan hippie. It's Ok...
I'm allergic to something about mainstream anti-persperant/deodorants, so I *have* to use the stuff without aluminum. Tom's of Main is the only brand I've found that even pretends to work. However, as others have mentioned, if I'm active or it's warm or anything else it going on that might make me a little extra sweaty or potentially in need of more deodorant protection it's a very good idea to ...read moreapply it an extra time or two during the day because once in the morning usually won't quite handle such conditions. Best Deodorant I've used!
I've tried many other natural deodorants, including the Tom's regular unscented. The regular works ok for me, but didn't last very well though a lot of activity. Hubby used it for years, while I moved on to others like Kiss My Face Liquid Rock, then recently switched to this one. I tried this when I ran out of mine, and found I really liked it. It worked like it should, lasting through more activi...read morety than the regular version. This is not an anti-perspirant and is not advertised as such. This doesn't block up the underarm pores to stop the body from sweating. It just blocks bacterial growth under the arms to keep smell away. I think this actually made me smell worse
This deodorant works until you actually start sweating, and then I swear I smelled worse than if I'd had nothing (this happened with several of the scents.) I would really like to not use anti-perspirant, but unfortunately, this one is not the answer! The best natural deodorant I've tried so far!
I've experimented a lot recently with natural deodorants, and for a while there I was worried that I'd never find anything natural that worked longer than a few minutes. Luckily, I decided to try Tom's of Maine Long-Lasting Natural Deodorant in Apricot, even after I tried the original Tom's of Maine Natural Deodorant with no luck. Tom's of Maine Long-Lasting Natural Deodorant Stick in Apricot ...read moresmells great, a trait that is important to me in a deodorant. Also, this deodorant definitely lasts longer than the original formula Tom's of Maine natural deodorant. Rather than having to reapply four times a day, I only reapply the Long-Lasting Natural Deodorant once per day. Btw, the Long-Lasting formula contains zinc ricinoleate to more effectively fight odor, whereas the original formula doesn't contain this ingredient.
