Was not thrilled with this. I can usually tell in the shower if a product will work on my thick, course hair and this didnt do it. Best to stop frizz!!
I have very thick but fine and dry hair. I was using Aveda's Dry remedy for while but it left a build up. It was recommended by a stylist to switch to this product. Best advice ever. I have not tried the conductioner. I try to keep my hair as natual as possible and before washing I soak my hair in coconut milk. After shampooing I rinse with diluted apple cider vineger and maybe add a couple drops of tamanu oil afterwards for shine. I don't blow dry and rarely straiten. Love the Smooth Infusion line, but not necessarily the shampoo
I love the Smooth Infusion Style Prepp Smoother. I use it to provide defintion and eliminate frizz on my curly hair. I love the results. I also use the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is ok. I noticed that it leaves my hair pretty dry and tangly until I use the accompanying conditioner. I don't notice different results when I use a different shampoo with the Smooth Infusion conditioner and style prepp, which leads me to believe it's more about the performance of the other products in terms of helping me achieve the look I want. For the cost, don't think it's necessarily worth it. Love this Shampoo and Conditioner
I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for over a year now and love it. I have short platinum blonde hair which needs to be recolored every 4/5 weeks and this is the only product that has made my hair feel soft dying platinum can be very damaging over time. I have tried many other products but, always go back to this. I happen to really like the scent of Aveda products. You do have to pay more for this shampoo and conditioner but, I think it is worth it. You only need a little and it really softens my hair and makes it shiny. Like the shampoo
