Looks like Lancôme Juicy Tube; feels like Vaseline Lip Therapy with a mild, peppermint tingle. Environmental advocates will want to hug the recycled, egg carton-like package that houses each tube of super-shiny goo. Certified organic/organically grown ingredients hydrate and soothe, but not every ingredient fits that bill. Sheer, nature-inspired pigments flatter most complexions and blend easily with other lip colors. Texture is mostly slick with a little stick. Love-it-or-leave-it factor: The herbal, medicinal scent is an acquired taste.

Mix or use alone- I work for them!

It works great alone for a natural look- there are various colors. Also it works great over lipstick or mixed. The options are endless! Have fun! Everyday Lipgloss

All natural goodness

It's got the perfect touch of colour to it that lightly stains the lips, and, best of all, the shine is minimalistic yet deeply hydrating. The only thing I don't like about these Lip Shines is the often hint of "spice" flavouring, it seems to irritated my throat... at times.

Too sheer

Even though I picked up the darkest one at a store (Beet Root), it did not add the color on my lips as much as I hoped. I used it as an addition to my lipstick. If you like a sheer gloss with natural ingredients, you probably like it. so - so gloss
by NIKKI104 (30 reviews)I have this lip shine in a great COLOR! It's super shiny and goes on slick with just a little tackyness. I hate the scent and the taste is not great. Multiple applications are necessary to keep up the color, it practical comes off by jus smacking your lips together. Needless to say I have it in a great COLOR. I love this gloss

Nice feel to it!

Looks nice but dont kiss anybody
by MeghanMac (2 reviews)I bought this about a year ago, and I haven't even used half of it. The gold shade I have looks really pretty on, but it tastes like CRAP. Since lip stuff inevitably ends up in your mouth as well as on it, taste is important to me. That is one of the major reasons I don't wear lipstick. If you do, maybe you won't mind the ...taste? Directions
- For a high gloss look, wear alone, applying along the natural contour of lips. Or to add high shine to other finishes, layer over another Aveda lip color, or layer Crystal Mint-our colorless Lip Shine-over an Aveda Lip Liner. Use Aveda's seven lip color families as a guide to compatible shades. From Aveda makeup artist Leslie Munsell: for a sheer, reflective look, apply Inner Light™ Concealer to conceal natural lip color, layer with your favorite shade of Lip Color Sheer, then add gloss with Lip Shine.
