Aveda Lip Shine
Editor's Rating & Review
Looks like Lancôme Juicy Tube; feels like Vaseline Lip Therapy with a mild, peppermint tingle. Environmental advocates will want to hug the recycled, egg carton-like package that houses each tube of super-shiny goo. Certified organic/organically grown ingredients hydrate and soothe, but not every ingredient fits that bill. Sheer, nature-inspired pigments flatter most complexions and blend easily with other lip colors. Texture is mostly slick with a little stick. Love-it-or-leave-it factor: The herbal, medicinal scent is an acquired taste.

I like it
I like the way this lip shine looks and it comes in great colors but the feeling on my lips isn't my favorite. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Too sheer
I bought it 4 years ago. Even though I picked up the darkest one at a store (Beet Root), it did not add the color on my lips as much as I hoped. I used it as an addition to my lipstick. If you like a sheer gloss with natural ingredients, you probably like it. But because it was quite expensive and the color rubbed off easily, I have not bought it ever since I finished my original tube. — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I love this gloss
This is one of my favorite lip glosses. It moistens with a hint of color and leaves the nice shine without the goop. I have "Night Iris" currently and it looks natural with my coloring. Great Stuff. — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
