Heavy, heavy
This mascara works better than it's non- water-proof counter-part. The white primer seems to be easier to cover & I finally get the volume I look for! Alas, it's very, very heavy. I still had to apply about 3 coats to get that volume so it feels over-done. It's pretty smudge proof so you can get wet in this stuff but it is prone to flaking. not great, but not bad either
I base alot of my choices on this website, but not all. Waterproof mascaras often have a rather thick formula, but this one was very watery. Wasn't crazy about this

As the years pass, I find my eyelashes becoming skimpier. Maybelline New York Intense XXL Volume & Length mascara gave life back to my eyes. The first step in the 2 step process definitely makes a positive difference by allowing better coverage of the mascara without looking clumpy or overdone.
