Maybelline New York Define-A-Lash Washable Lengthening Mascara
Editor's Rating & Review
A mascara that promises "zero clumps" with "stunning length" and "clean definition" at this price sounds too good to be true -- and it is. The reason it doesn't clump? The formula is so thin, you'll need at least two coats to get decent lash definition. Then it starts clumping. Also, the bendable rubber applicator takes some getting used to; it feels really strange and flimsy at first.

Mascara? What Mascara, Maybelline?
I could make a fortune if I could sell back to companies all of the mascaras which didn't work for me. This is "front and center" among them. The wand was difficult to work with, the product so thin in texture that I tried to build coats for any length at all. All I did was tint my lashes. From a company that produces some amazing products, this was a complete and total disappointment. — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

One of the worst
This is one of the worst mascaras I ever used. Even after two coats it looked like there was nothing on. — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Ugh
The formula is VERY thin, it can't clump there's nothing TO clump! I had to wash the applicator off and dip it back in the tub just to make sure I was actually getting mascara on it! Not worth it for upper lashes, but for the lower that's a different story, its good enough. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
