This is one of the most effective volumizers that I have tried. I apply a few pumps to damp hair at the crown and then tousle the hair to distribute the product. Keeps my hair in place

My hairdresser recommended this product over the Aveda potion root lifter. It keeps my wild, thick hair in place. It's gives me just enough volume on top and in my bangs to prevent that flat, dull droopy look after flat ironing. My only complaint is the film that is left on my hair. This product works pretty well. I use it exactly as instructed and do get some lift and volume at the roots. It does leave some kind of residue that makes my hair not so shiny.
