It's a dreaded cycle: You get a pimple and cover it with foundation, which makes the pimple worse, prompting you cover it with even more makeup. Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup helps break the cycle with .5 percent salicylic acid, so you actually fight pimples while wearing it. The formula is also great at making pores disappear, feels practically invisible on and comes in 12 shades. But alas, it's not perfect. "Oil-absorbing powders" don't help much with shine, and the liquid formula tends to fade through the day, especially (and ironically) on oily skin.

    BEST I've tried!

    I love this foundation. It makes my face feel so fresh! It has good coverage and is buildable and blendable. I'm not sure if it helped my acne at all. Since my skin is changing everyday.. but I know it hasn't caused any breakouts. I feel clean when I wear this.. and I wear it everyday! It's not greasy like all other foundat... I like that it's in a glass bottle, and the whole packaging. The only issue may be if you have very light skin.. you may not find a color quite light enough. I used Softest Gold for a while and it was a tad too dark and golden for me.. then they came out with a new shade which is PERFECT.. Golden Ivory.     Exceeded my expectations!

    A friend gave me this when it was too light for her. I have been really surprised how well it's done for my combo skin. A mild cleanser, a light lotion and this foundation have worked wonders this past month. I didn't even break out before my period like I usually do - it kept it in check!     Dream come true!

    This is a best foundation ever!I have a problem skin a long time.Trying a many different brands.Yes they cover my acne but not help.And i always feel like have a heavy mask on my face.Than i call to neutrogena company and ask for samples.I got them after 3 days.And there i find this makeup.After i try a sample i went to wal...     The best foundation ever!

    This foundation has exceeded my expectations. I used to get a few blemishes every month and it has almost completely taken care of that. It's not too heavy and not too sheer. I can't see myself using another foundation. It is perfect for my skin. February 6, 2008, 10:53 am

    Works Well On Skin With Acne

    As a personal trainer, I don't like to wear much makeup, but I need something to cover acne or redness from time to time. This works for me because of the salicylic acid. I have oily skin, a medium olive tone, and the shade is perfect. The price is right for me, too! April 26, 2008, 7:19 am

    I tried so many different foundations over the years trying to find one htat did not cause me to break out. I finally found this ine and will never use anything else. It does not cause my skin to break out and leaves my skin looking and feeling great. Covers well. February 13, 2008, 9:40 am

    Highly recommended for oily and blemish prone skin

    I have tried many different foundations and keep coming back to the one that works the best for my skin type. I love the color choices for this line and the foundation keeps my oily skin under check. Not only does it control the shine but it actually helps to treat and prevent blemishes.     Not a a good foundation!

    Ughhh!!! I dont like this product at all! I got it and as soon as I got home I put it on and it did... Nothing!!! It caked on my face and didnt even cover very light acne spots!! Also,its pretty hard to get out of the bottle! I had to pour some out on a paper towel and then use my fingers to apply! However it might also be... February 27, 2008, 8:45 am Ughhh!!! I dont like this product at all! I got it and as soon as I got home I put it on and it did... Nothing!!! It caked on my face and didnt even cover very light acne spots!!     Doesn't cause breakouts, BUT...

    Okay, I will acknowledge that this did not cause my problem skin to break out more than normal, but I must wholeheartedly disagree that it cleared up my pimples, minimized my pores, or controlled shine. In fact, my face was a greasy, nasty mess just a few hours after putting this on. March 17, 2008, 9:45 pm
