    TURNED ME ORANGE

    by risaloren (16 reviews)
    Trusted Review
this is a terrible product i was feeling a little self concious so i decided to try this out. first of all, you need to spray a truckload of it on just to get a little color. after you get that tiny little amount of color, BAM.. you're orange! i had to go to school the next day, it was completely embarassing! luckily i co...uld wipe ALL of it off that same day, even though it promised a week. o and by the way, IT STINKS! DO NOT TRY IT! June 27, 2009, 6:20 pm

    easy application. stinky after-smell!

first of all i have to say that i have used at least 5 different sprays similar to this concept, and i've found this is the best for a smooth, continuous spray. i still usually end up rubbing some areas in, though the application process is much cleaner than lotions and this dries much more quickly on my skin. the smell a...fter it has dried is still yucky! i feel like my body smells musty. another beef i have with this is that my white bikini that i wore last summer has a yellow -orange tint to it around the hems, where the tanner rubbed off (that's after letting it dry folks and showering away the self-tanning grime). i've bought this since in a pinch to use on my legs, but i won't use it on my upper body because of the smell. LUV IT=)

    by rain1331 (15 reviews)
I really like this sunless tanning spray!! Instead of geting the lighter sprays and having to reaply it I buy this or the med. that way one application does the trick. I still rub it in even though it says you don't have to just to make sure everything is even. I have never had any streaks or fake orange color with this pro...duct. Everyone thinks I've been tanning. I love the compliments I get with this:) Just make sure to wash your hands good with any sunless tanning product and I recommend rubbing them all in to get a more professional look and that just makes sure it is even. I have tried a lot of sunless tanning products and always come back to this one=) April 26, 2008, 9:15 pm

    Just Call Me Cheeto

    by justagirl1 (7 reviews)
Not for boo - white people. The first time I used this product I had a little bit of tan. I had my husband spray a nice even layer on and really couldn't tell if there was any change. Didn't bother to use it for the rest of the summer. Several months later I had lost the tan. I wanted to wear a skirt without hose. My... husband had already left for work. I remembered I had this product from the previous summer. I am not as talented at applying an even layer as my husband. The can reassured me that the micro mist would prevent streaking. The fumes were so bad I started to contemplate the risk of lung cancer. I may have applied too generous of a layer because the drying time was double the time listed on the can. I really did not notice a huge change at first and dashed out the door to work. Half way through the day I looked down to find yellow/orange streaks all over my legs. I had a white circle on my ankle where I held the can too close. I hid my legs under the desk and went straight home after work. October 25, 2007, 3:49 pm

    wrong-this stuff works

    by boopsharley (25 reviews)
I love this product. I spray it on everynight on my legs. It works great. All self tanners are not perfect. You will have areas that you mess up. I don't care how much you spend. The key is applying a little lotion to the areas that you don't want to look like dirt instead of a tan like your knees. It goes on great and it d...oesn't look orange to me. I wish they made bigger cans but that would be my only complaint. May 30, 2008, 12:52 pm

    Not so hot tan

    by wblan1 (11 reviews)
My mom had just got back from vacation and was trying to maintain her tan and it looked really good. I tried to use it and i was much whiter than she was. At first i couldn't really tell that it was working and then a few days later i was so streaky and a mess that it was embarassing. It's hard to tell where you are applyin...g it and sommetimes if you go over an area too much it's so dark. Also it smells bad. If your good with spray on tanners this might work for you. this self tanner is good for everyday color, especially for winter when it's one of the few self tanners left on the shelf but even with my fair skin I found it a bit too light. the smell isn't great but it does dry fast and doesn't have a overly strong self tanner smell as it develops. I do like that it faded well and didn...'t dry my skin like some sprays can. April 19, 2008, 2:56 pm

    This is my preferred self-tanner

    by besemerl (6 reviews)
Here in Michigan sun is at a premium. This gives me a headstart and I like the even golden color. The fumes are a bit strong and I would consider doing this in a well ventilated space. Also with any "mist" sprayer I'd be conserned about what else the mist is landing on. I do my spraying on the deck outside.... March 27, 2008, 8:53 pm

    Okay

    by doodlebeep (24 reviews)
I love spray tanners for their fairly easy application, even color, fast drying time, and no orange hands. The developed color (two-three hours) is a decent golden hue. Need to apply a second time before showering to achieve a deeper color. However this product has a HORRIBLE smell when you spray it! Not a self-tanner icky ...smell, but an acrid, bug-spray smell! Must be used in a well-ventilated area! February 11, 2008, 8:25 pm

    not for beginners

    by Jamming44 (5 reviews)
if you're new to the whole self tanning process, then this is not the product for you. it's a little more difficult than the lotions because it is a little harder to get an even tan. also i made the big mistake of buying the number 2 one when i was pale (which is supposed to give off a medium tan) and it turned me a dark un...attractive orange...however when i tried using this product again when i was tanner the color was much better and blended well with my tanned skin. This revolutionary, ultra-fine mist covers evenly, for easy, no-rub application. The one-touch continuous spray works at any angle to tan hard-to-reach places—even your back. It dries fast and won't clog pores. Now, random streaks, missed spots and orange palms are a thing of the past. Dries in 5 minutes Oil-free Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) Net wt. 5.3 oz. aerosol can 2 shades
  • Directions

  • Apply to freshly cleansed, exfoliated skin. Do not spray directly on face. Hold spray 6" away from body and sweep evenly across desired area to tan, keeping the can in constant motion. Stop spraying at the end of each stroke to avoid over application. Apply sparingly around rough skin like elbows, knees and ankles. Sunless tan will begin to develop in 2-4 hours and last for days. Wash hands with soap and water immediately after use. Reapply as needed to maintain or deepen color.
