I bought this quite awhile ago at my local Clinique counter -- the lady helping me with eyeshadow recommended it. I was a little reserved at first because of how dark it looked in the stick (I have it in Waterviolet) and the glitter was initially a little off putting. However, it goes on super sheer and pretty & the fine bits of glitter don't feel very gritty or look gaudy at all. I love sheer lipsticks, but this stuff is awful. You can't go wrong with this lipstick, the color is just sheer enough where you don't have to worry about it not matching your skin tone but it definitely defines your lips.
