Kiehl's Creme de Corps Nurturing Body Washing Cream Reviews

Forms a moisture seal on my skin
Many shower creams and washes claim to moisturize the skin. This one really does. I noticed that my skin right after I turned the water off in the shower had water beading up on it. The water runs off, and I have this first layer of moisture. I still moisturize on top of this, but it's a great start, especially in the dry winter weather. There is nothing oustanding about the scent. There really isn't one, so that's the only reason I give it 9 stars, instead of 10. I prefer a soothing, calming scent in the shower. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Nice!!
This is a nice addition if you like the Creme de Corps Lotion. It is unscented, and very moisturizing. It is pricey but if you have sensitive skin, it is worth it. — 5 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

This is a good body wash that moisturizes & smells good. I am able to use it to wash my face while in the shower which isn't something I can say about most body washes. It doesn't leave my skin tight & dry afterward. — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

What happened here?
Now it's entirely possible my bottle of this stuff came from a bad batch (maybe a bottle of dishwashing liquid fell in the mixing vat?), but this was a disappointing waste of money. I bought it because I love the Creme de Corps body lotion and I'd come to trust Kiehl's products to be of the highest quality. If you are super concerned about killing germs and you need that stripped, squeaky clean feeling to feel like you've had a productive shower, then you might like this body wash. I felt like it not only cleansed my skin of dirt and germs but it also robbed it of all natural oils and nutrients and left it desperately parched. In other words, it felt exactly like I'd used an old bar of Irish Spring I found under the sink at my mom's house. Yucky. I don't know what's going on with this stuff, but it's a total fail. Kiehl's line of shower gels (I love the Tea Tree one) is far superior and the price is comparable to the Creme de Corps wash. Also, it's paraben-free and that's always nice. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
