Maybelline New York Full 'N Soft Washable Mascara Reviews

Lives Up To Its Name
"Full and Soft" created no spectacular look in the length of my lashes. This is a great staple mascara with soft, buildable coverage to add volume and length. It resists clumping and stays put a long time. I love it! — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Full n Soft
I really like the brush that this mascara has, as it seems to touch every lash. However, the formula is rather dry and chalky, and tends to flake. The colors are also not very rich or deep. I would pass on this one. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 10 people said helpful

Maybelline New York Full 'N Soft Mascara
This is a great everyday mascara. I bought Full N Soft about two weeks ago as I was looking for a less costly alternative to my usual mascaras (badgal, extase and YSL). I absolutely LOVE this mascara for the following reasons: 1. Doesn't flake 2. You can layer it without have the spidery look 3. Extremely buildable to create a more dramatic look 3. Price tag I've seen reviews stating that you can't layer it enough to create a dramatic evening look but I've had the opposite experience and use it all the time for nights out. I have this in my makeup bag along with Dior's Extase and I haven't reached for the Extase since I bought this mascara! I would strongly recommend everyone try this mascara at least once! This is by far the best mascara I have ever used! Does exactly what it claims, gives you full and soft lashes. The only downfall is that after about a month it does start to flake on me, but everything else about it is perfect. I've used both the washable and waterproof versions, I like the washable one cause it is thicker but the waterproof is just as good, if not a little more difficult to take off. I use Albolene either way and it comes off really easily. I wish I could still find it in brown though, that was the best for my red hair/blue eyes, but black looks great too. I decided to purchase Maybelline Full 'N Soft after seeing all the positive reviews it received here (plus there was a sale on Maybelline products at my local department store), and I have to say that this mascara really does give you full and soft lashes. It separates your lashes and coats them evenly, giving nice, full volume. It also holds a curl quite well. My favourite thing about it though, is that it doesn't leave your lashes stiff like ordinary mascaras do. It's great if you're looking for an everyday, natural look. I'm so glad I bought it! It's become my go-to mascara. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 47 of 58 people said helpful

Great mascara but...
The only thing I have with this mascara is the fact that it gives a very natural look to your lashes. If you're looking for dramatic lashes, I couldn't achieve it with this mascara. But, aside from the other Maybelline mascaras, my lashes didn't lose curl when I applied. The brush is great and it can reach every lash. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 7 people said helpful

One of the Best Dugstore Mascaras
This mascara has been around for years and I've loved it ever since. It gives all day wear, with full longer lashes that perfectly separate. I feel that it does actually make lashes soft, which is nice but not necessary. The brush is a classic bristle brush, with long bristles. It has a weird fishy smell though. But it works so well that I don't mind! I really feel that this is a lengthening and thickening mascara, not a volume enhancer. I really enjoy it for day wear. *Prevents loss of lashes with patented Quick Dissolve System that allows easy mascara removal * No clumps, no globs * Contact lens safe and hypoallergenic * Washable; also available in waterproof formula — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 13 people said helpful

Blah
I bought this because it has great reviews and isn't overpriced. I only used it for two days before throwing it out. Less than extraordinary. My lashes weren't longer, thicker, better defined, anything. I might as well have not worn mascara at all. If you're looking for a decent, inexpensive mascara, try Neutrogena Healthy Volume. It is worlds better. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Wow! Wow! Wow!
I resolved to stop using department store mascaras because of a) the free-falling economy and b) mascaras dry out so quickly that it's not worth the extra bucks. I'm glad I switched, because this unassuming drugstore gem blows its pricier counterparts out of the water. The black perfectly frames my baby blues with long, full, glossy lashes that look so natural you'd think I was born with them. The clump-free formula is very wet, so the product goes on smoothly and I can expect it to have a long life span. The feathery brush resists build-up and contributes to the mascara's flawless execution. — 4 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 13 people said helpful
