Not my favorite

This was one of the first brow products I tried and I returned it. I saw it presented on TV and the results looked great. However, when I used it at home, it actually made me break out around my brows (probably from the wax). I'm acne prone elsewhere on my face but never around my brows. Really makes a difference

It's surprising how much of a difference your brows can make to the overall appearance of your face. As I've gotten older, some of my brow hairs have gotten more unruly, and my brows are more sparse than they used to be. A very light application of the was followed by a light application of the color really opens up my eyes and frames my face. — 1 year, 3 months ago

I tried this product after reading a favorable review. To be honest, I was not impressed with this once I bought and tried it. In my opinion the powder was heavy looking no matter how light a hand I used, even though I bought the correct shade for my brow color. The wax that is supposed to groom brows and hold them in place was greasy and did not work well on my oily skin. This product may work well on dry/normal skin but I would not recommend it for oily skin. — 4 years, 4 months ago

I don't normally use brow makeup, but my mom and I got this in a set with some other Smashbox products and it has totally changed my mind. It makes such a difference when I do my mom's makeup--she has much thinner brows than me and it really helps frame her face. It gives a much more natural-looking result than other brow products I've tried, which tend to be too dark or waxy. — 4 years, 5 months ago

this is awesome. if you just need a little fill-in color, then use the pwder first by itself. if you have unruly eyebrow hairs, use the wax on top to smooth them down and make them lay perfectly. it you don't have brows at all (mine are very sparse), mix the powder and wax to make a colored wax and apply it to skin to give the appearance of hair. — 10 months, 3 weeks ago

I been using this for the last 4 years and LOVE IT! I have attempted to try other stuff but keep coming back to this, I may try SB slanted pencil seems pretty good too. I always get compliments on my eyebrows! One key thing is that you have to be careful not to use too much wax, otherwise it looks fake. — 9 months ago
