    World's most toxic nailpolish!

    by Felix98 (12 reviews)
I used to love OPI nailpolish, then I learned their dirty little secret. Their products contain known carcinogens and neuro-toxins. I was completely shocked! I did not want to believe it . Please don't take my word for it! Go to the Environmental Working Groups website and click on the link to their skindeep database. You ...will be surprised to know that OPI makes some of the worlds most toxic nailpolish. May 29, 2008, 10:38 pm

    LOVE

    by ModernDayWriter (165 reviews)

I love OPI's bright and bold colors. Essie is a great brand for classic and conservative colors, but OPI is on top of the game in terms of trendy and fresh colors. Whether you are experimenting with new looks or trying to make a fashion statement, all of these colors are rich and vibrant and high quality. It goes on like a ...dream- smooth and evenly. The new brush is spectacular as well. Doesn't dry particularly quickly, but worth the wait. I can usually go 4-5 days with minimal chipping. I love it. May 23, 2008, 3:03 am

A brand that's not afraid of colors

    by cheetah11 (151 reviews)

I use nail polish from Opi, Essie and Zoya but out of the three, Opi is the one that I have the most success with in terms of color pay-off and staying power. I'm generally rough with my hands and I definitely don't baby my nails and this is the brand I keep going back to when I want my polish to stay around a little longe...r. They have almost as many shades as Zoya and the colors they have range from subtle, light neutrals to bold and edgy, to the most unusual. Opi is definitely not afraid to use colors to make a statement. My favorite thus far is their France Collection with neutral shades of beige and muted purples which are great fall shades. Color pay-off is excellent but some shades are a bit thick and hard to apply so a thinner is a must with those. Without a base and top coat, I can get about 4 days of wear before signs of fading or chipping sets in. With a good base/top coat, I can easily get a week of wear and sometimes even longer, depending on which shades I'm wearing as some shades seem to last longer. The brush applicator is good in that application of most colors are smooth, except for the ones that are a bit thick in consistency. This is definitely one of the best nail polish brand I have tried and rivals the likes of more expensive brands for a fraction of the price. October 10, 2009, 3:00 am

    OPI nail sticks-new and portable

    by yvettej (15 reviews)
I just tried the new OPI nail sticks which come in a number of brillant colors. I chose a midnight blue color and tried it on my toes first. You have the pump the button on the end of the stick to get the product to come out and then you apply. But I was not impressed with the width of the brush, nor the multiple applicatio...ns of the product you have to use to get a good coat. It was very dull looking even though it is suppose to have a top coat mixed in with the color. I am going to try it one more time with a new color "I am outta here" and if I get the same results I am not going to use it again May 23, 2008, 1:18 am

    Few improvements needed

The color selection is excellent, especially the matte shades. The pigment could be darker, since I like to layer 2 thin coats, and this sometimes doesn't give me enough coverage that I have to do 3 thin coats. Topped with a clear coat, this lasts me a week of wear. The longer wider brushes are much easier and quicker to pa...int with. The bottle shape is kind of slippery, I prefer square bottles for easier grip. The wide brush handle is nice and ergonomic though. The formula doesn't smell as strong as cheaper drug store brands do. Great Color, Bad Timing

    by pascale (3 reviews)
I fell completely for the deep, lustrous red of Opi's "An Affair in Red Square." And when my manicurist applied it with a generous spattering of other incomprehensible products, it lasted at least two weeks. However, when I applied the polish myself, I found it started peeling after less than 24 hours. And I'm rea...lly not dense when it comes to applying polish, I swear. However, I love the color so much that I'm willing to apply it solely for a big night and accept the fact that it will be chipped and horrid in the morning. November 29, 2007, 1:55 pm

    The Best!

    by Janetc (3 reviews)
The OPI nail product line is the best I've ever used. Dries quickly and, with a top coat every two days or so, will last all week long. I get salon-quality manicures in the comfort of my own home. An added bonus is matching lipcolor!! Great price, too. October 25, 2007, 9:01 am

    Great depth of colour

    by ebickell (28 reviews)

My all-time favourite toenail polish, Opi Fiji Wiji Squeeze! The polish goes on nicely, smooths out so no ridge lines or brush marks, and has a great depth of colour, meaning the polish seems to be deeper and more lustrous than you would expect for the thickness of the coat. Nice packaging. The polish lasts forever on my to...es although I do find it chips on my fingernails (but I'm not careful). It's more expensive than the drugstore brands but the quality is much better. May 21, 2008, 8:38 am

The best nail polish on the market

    by Smiley8066 (10 reviews)
This is hands down the best nail polish there is to buy. I have tried many different kinds, and this is my favorite. I own over 100 of them. The formula is just right, not too streaky or thick, the pro-wide brush makes application easy, and OPI makes the perfect color for everyone. It is long lasting, and everything you cou...ld want in a polish. Definitely worth the extra money. April 23, 2008, 8:59 am

I love love love this nail polish line! My absolute favorite color is Not Really a Waitress. If you feel like you can't wear sexy red nails and have them look casual, think again. This + Sally Hansen Diamond Shine topcoat= Long lasting, shiny, cheap manicure! February 29, 2008, 6:28 pm
