  Great mascara, but it dries out pretty quickly for such a costly tube. regardless i keep coming back to it. I have tried and enjoyed others such as Dior Show (which gave me black marks under my eyes and also dried out quite quickly for the price), and Guerlain Maxi Lash (not as black under the eyes, still dried out quickl... In the end, it's about personal preference, so it's important to keep trying until you find one that you like. Also, I think it's important to switch it up every 6 months.   My favorite mascara

  I love how much work this mascara does. It creates a gorgeous full look with very few strokes. It has never, ever flaked on me. The wand does not get clumpy, and the colors are fabulous. The black is rich, the purple is stunning and the burgandy is the only one of it's kind that I can find. Yes, it's damn pricey, but it...   Not worth its weight in gold

  I wished I'd loved this. It's a fabulous gold tube & feels like there's something substantial inside. But the mascara isn't special, in fact there are many others that exceed this one. I found it makes my lashes too spikey, and I'd prefer a wand that thickens more consistently. I was so disappointed, but keep shopping ... November 29, 2007, 4:56 pm I wished I'd loved this. I've tried Diorshow - which flakes a few weeks after tube was opened and this NEVER flakes, gives full, lush lashes without clumping or drying. I know it's pricy, but worth i...   Amazing

  This is an amazing mascara. It makes my lashed long and thick but what I love most about it is the rich inky black color that it leaves on my lashes. The only problem with this mascara is it dries out faster than most I've used before in the past. Other than that, this has been the best mascara I have used and my staple.   This is my Holy Grail mascara!

  This mascara is by far my favorite, and I have tried MANY. No matter how many new one's I try...I always go back to this one. It does everything it says it does...it lengthens, thickens, and holds a curl. Love this stuff, and I didn't think I would, especially for the price tag, but I certainly don't mind spending the money...   Still the best mascara I have tried

  I have tried all brands of mascara from LashFusion to DiorShow and this one is still my favorite. It builds long and thick lashes with relatively few coats and doesn't not smudge - I always put powder under my eyes though so that may help... November 29, 2007, 2:45 pm

  Straight to Fabulous & Fat

  I am a mascara expert - no other makeup matters but I will not leave the house without mascara. My lashes are straight and light & I'm squeamish about curling them. With this product I don't need to - my lashes are lush, curled and dark with 1-2 coats. November 24, 2007, 4:54 pm

  fab mascara

  this is my HG mascara. you do need 2 coats for a more "faux" look, but 1 coat looks like your lashes but better and is more work appropriate. this price is high but in my opinion it is totally worth it. November 5, 2007, 7:04 pm

  I really loved this mascara. It totally gave the effect of false lashes! Great volumizing with no clumping whatsoever. No need to brush through with a lash comb afterwards. My lashes looked the best they ever have! On the negative side, it does have a tendency to flake and leave little black specks on your face at the end o... UPDATE: I've found the perfect dupe for this mascara, and at a much better price! L'Oreal Voluminous Full Definition mascara gives the exact same lash effect, but without the weird flaking and the heavy perfume! Also comes in a pretty gold tube (obviously not as classy as the YSL one, but still nice). August 25, 2008, 2:12 pm
