  Didn't impress me

  I received a sample size of this mascara as a GWP, and I certainly would never pay retail for this. It's not a bad mascara; it does lengthen my lashes and make them a little thicker, and it clumps only a little and never flakes or smudges. However, it is NOT worth the US$22 that Lancome charges for it. Why? Because I find i...t makes my lashes look a little spidery, and overall, I don't find it to be any better than a drugstore mascara. Ingredients: water, paraffin, stearic acid, triethanolamine, beeswax, acacia senegal, palmitic acid, carnauba wax, simethicone, sodium polymethacrylate, hydroxyethylcellulose, panthenol, polyquaternium-10, imidazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben. May contain: mica, titanium dioxide, carmine, iron oxides, chromium hydroxide green, chromium oxide greens, ultramarines. December 3, 2007, 3:44 pm

  never again

  I don't understand why this mascara gets such glowing reviews. Whenever I used it in the past it would run if my lashes got a little bit wet and I'd feel like I was in some old-timey movie in which the heroine is always crying with two black rivelets of makeup running down her face.   not so sure

  I just got this mascara yesterday after all the rave reviews I've read/heard. Even the lancome specialist convinced me to buy this one over another lancome mascara I was interested in. I have only used this once and will try it all week before I return it, but I am not impressed. I am definitely definitely definitely a m...ascara lady--always seeking out the best. For me, this is not what I was asking for. I want a natural look and every lash separation is most important to me. I found this mascara thicker than expected and it separated my lashes, but in groups. I like it when my lashes don't group together, but they are each their own. At least this morning, this mascara did not accomplish this for me. We'll see how it continues on. June 3, 2008, 10:56 am

  Doesn't do anything for my short Asian Lashes

  I know everyone always raves about this mascara. But it doesn't do anything for my short Asian lashes which stick out horizontally. I've tried it on my lashes alone and I've tried it after curling my lashes with Shu Uemura lash curler. I wouldn't recommend this product. February 8, 2008, 8:25 am

  I don't get the hype

  When my Lancome lady told me this was THE mascara I brought some home. This is the worst mascara I've ever used! I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience with Mascara before, so frankly I was shocked. Instead of going on my lashes, it clumps them together terribly, and it's terribly messy. It flakes off during the da...y, which is another problem I haven't encountered with other mascaras, even the pink and green drugstore brand. I'll skip this, and save my money. May 23, 2008, 4:15 am

  Expected results, not special.

  This mascara is average for what is expected. It does volumize and give you dramatic black lashes, but I think L'Oreal Voluminous mascara does a little better job along the similar results with lot less money. It also doesn't last that long, since the tube is skinny, it seems to dry up faster. The straight wand is easier to... deposit more product than the "Pro" version with the curved wand.   Lancome Definicils mascara

  I liked the product when I first got it, but it seems that within a week, there was not much getting on the brush when I pulled it out of the tube. It's annoying to pay that price for the large size. You think you are really getting more product that what is in the tube. It's very good, but short term lasing. May 4, 2008, 3:42 pm
