I usually like Allure's award winning products, but not this one. The brush often gave my eyelash clumps or lumps, and occasionally I had to comb through my lashes after applying. Don't waste your money on this one! I have no idea why people rave about this mascara!? Looks spidery on the lashes and flakes! I'll save my money and hit the drug store or my Avon lady! Expected results, not special.

This mascara is average for what is expected. It does volumize and give you dramatic black lashes, but I think L'Oreal Voluminous mascara does a little better job along the similar results with lot less money. It also doesn't last that long, since the tube is skinny, it seems to dry up faster. The straight wand is easier to deposit more product than the "Pro" version with the curved wand. Okay, but not worth all the hype

I just tried this product and it was no different than the cheaper mascaras I've tried. One of my other mascaras I already had is better (Bare Naturale by Loreal). This is not worth the price for me. This mascera would have been pretty if it didn't distribute a swarm of clumps with every stroke and look dry on my lashes. This really didn't live up to the hype. It's really good at lengthening lashes but does nothing for volume. The formula is clumpy; it takes tons of swipes to work the clumps out. On the plus side, it never smudges or flakes and the formula is super black. I lucked out when my grandmother got a Lancome makeup kit gift with one of her of purchases. She's not a big makeup user so she gave it to me! Hurray for free makeup! Anyway, this mascara was contained in the gift & I was excited to try it since I've heard lots of rave reviews for it. The actual mascara isn't particularly noteworthy but I do love the brush. The brush is perfect for getting to edge lashes and bottom lashes without incident & it actually grabs the hair to evenly distribute product throughout the lash. The actual mascara... I can take it or leave it. It won't flake on you but isn't particularly long-lasting. It is however, hard to wash off. It won't clump but I suspect that is due to the great brush. In any case, I wouldn't purchase this. I have long, curly lashes but I am lacking in the volume department so I look for good volume and this just doesn't provide enough volume for me. Even if you have the cash to splurge on this, I'd say try a different pricey brand like Dior Show which gives a much bigger impact.
