We're thinking this product should be called So Scent-y instead. The "ultra-feminine fragrance bursts in the shower" as promised, but it's not necessarily a good thing when the bathroom smells of an exploded perfume bottle. Fortunately, the scent doesn't linger too long, but the massive fragrance and ho-hum ingredient list confirmed our doubts that this isn't such a shining, gentle formula, particularly on color-treated hair, as claimed.

    Good scent... average product

    This shampoo smells good and makes my hair soft, but I've found that by the end of the day, my scalp is already oily. Coming from some one who washes her hair only every other day, this was a big turn off. We all know that shampooing every day can be detrimental to hair, so this was a turn-off. You can find a shampoo like ...this at the drugstore, and even betters ones as well May 1, 2008, 8:41 am

    Actually a good product

    I never expected VS to have a good haircare line but this is great. The scent can be a little strong but it goes away quickly and feels good while washing hair. I was pleasantly surprised by how my hair looked after using the shampoo and conditioner. It felt great. My hair is usually very poofy and wavy after I shampoo ...but this product left it a lot more tamed. December 16, 2007, 12:37 pm

    Wonderful

    I love the scent that it gives out and it lastes long too. It works great with my hair. I don't like using conditioner but my hair still needs some moisterizer and that's where Victoria's Secret So Sexy Balancing Shampoo comes in. It gives my hair a nice shine, makes it think, with less fly aways not the mention the wonderf...ul scent. Love it!!! April 20, 2008, 10:27 am

    Surprised by softness

    This is WAY overly scented. It's fragrance is the same as the perfume "Body" by Victoria. Once you get past the strength of the smell, it works quite well. I was surprised at how soft and silky my hair felt after using this product. I am a huge fan... now if they would only dial down the fragrance a little... February 14, 2008, 1:58 pm

    I tried this product. I thought it smelled great. I'm always afraid to put perfume in my hair because they say the alcohol in it can dry out your hair. This product is like perfume in your hair which is pretty cool, but that's pretty much it. It didn't make my hair any softer or really do anything for it all other than make... it smell good.     I always feel sexy wearing this stuff. It stays in my hair all day and keeps it silky smooth. I've had numerous comments on how my hair smells so sweet with this stuff (: Definitely worth it. Get 3 of these shampoos/conditioners for 21 dollars, just make sure you remind the workers at checkout. January 5, 2008, 11:55 pm

    This shampoo is great! The smell is a bit overwhelming in the shower, but doesn't seem to last long after you blow dry. My hair is soft and I think the shampoo works great! It smells delicious! November 11, 2009, 4:46 pm

    I don't like this shampoo & conditioner the smell is great I admit & lasts a long time. But it made my already dry & damaged hair even dryer. So now it's just sitting in my shower like every other product that I used. Was a waste of money! October 20, 2009, 6:38 pm
