They give this stuff away...for a reason.

I got my bottle of this product in a gift bag a few years ago. I notice that whenever The Body Shop does a special sample bag, they'll put in a a full-sized bottle of this product. Here's what I like about it; because it's camomile, it doesn't irritate my skin. It does take off heavy eyeshadows without any harsh rubbing on my part. Where's what I don't like about it, and maybe this is just true o...read moref all eye make-up removers: it doesn't take off mascara effectively. I can rub this into my lashes, put more remover on a cotton pad, keep rubbing, put more product on, rub, and rub, and rub and there will still be mascara coming off. If I think I've gotten it all off I'll be proven wrong in the morning with those wonderful black marks under my eyes from the melted mascara. Granted I use the eye make-up remover to remove those marks, but I've just had better success with removing mascara with coconut oil. — 3 weeks, 2 days ago

The Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

contrary to the description on the bottle, this make up remover is definitely not gentle on the eye!..it sting the eye!!..i tried it a few times thinking that maybe its just coincidence but every time , without fail, it stings the eye...i am regretting the fact that i bought it!..so far, the only Body Shop product that totally disappoints!! — 5 months, 3 weeks ago

The Body Shop Chamomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover

I purchased this product after trying a bit in the store on a swatch. It seemed to do the job adequately, and it was buy 3 get 2 free, so no harm done. I've never had problems with chamomile nor 'gentle' eye makeup removers. Unfortunately my eyes swell if I use this on them. Does a great job for the rest of my face. — 6 months, 2 weeks ago

    Amazing Product

I got this makeup remover as a gift from one of my cousins because I did not use one at the time. I would always rub at my eyes with soap and water which just got them really irritated and red, especially when I tried taking off eye shadow (it always stuck to my lids like glue or something). So when I first tried out the product, I was amazed. With one swipe all of my eye shadow was off. The only ...read morething I had to sort of redo was to take a q-tip and take of the eyeliner that was sort of in between my lashes. Other than that, it took off my mascara along with the shadow and made things so much faster and easier. The only downfall for me is that the first time I used the product, I got some in my eyes and it burned for a while. Now every time I use this makeup remover I make sure to close my eyes shut and afterwards I rinse my face with water, just in case some of it decides to get in. I highly recommend this product. It is definitely worth trying, especially since they have a mini of this product for around $4. — 7 months, 3 weeks ago
