  As smooth as butter

  When I went to a MAC store at first, I was overwhelmed by the variety of beauty products they offer. My eyes suddenly fell upon the Violet color MAC Eye Kohl pencil and I asked for a trial piece. I couldn't believe my eyes when I started using the pencil. It just glided over my eye like butter gets spread on a bread loaf. V...ery easy and very smooth. The amazing part was that I could apply the eye liner with one stroke unlike other brands which have to be repeatedly drawn. The applied line was strong and perfect with no smudges at all. The price of the Kohl was $12 only. At first it looks to be a bit expensive but then the quality of the product wouldn't leave you with any regrets. Now I am such a fan of MAC Kohl pencils, that I have stocked a dozen assorted shades of them. Go get yourself one now and fall into the beauty of MAC Kohl. June 3, 2008, 10:52 am

  My Favorite Pencil

  Two shades, Prunella & Tarnish have been staples for a few years now. The deep burgundy and forest green accent my brown eyes gorgeously. The pencil is soft enough not to tug or scratch my eyelids (very important). I don't often do a smoky eye which this product seems made for as it's so soft it can travel easily. Howev...er, what I do is use the MAC 266 brush and go over the line with an eyeshadow which 'sets' the color for all day (and night, for that matter). It's a quick extra step because the line is already drawn, and I have more versatility with the shades. For example, deep brown eye shadow looks lovely over both shades, etc. March 18, 2008, 3:51 pm

  Foxy Lady

  I have this in Foxy Lady. Foxy Lady is a deep burgandy with red undertones and gold shimmer. I don't use it as a eyeliner . I prefer to use it as a lipliner to fill in my lips then apply MAC "O" lipstick over it or MAC clear lipglass on top or MAC Oh Baby lipglass on top. It is a creamy smooth pencil and goes on e...asily and makes your lipstick last. I tried using it as a eyeliner and it looks great used with MAC Cranberry eyeshadow and lining your eyes in a wedge with Foxy Lady. It gives it a bold gilded cranberry wine look. I love these eyeliners and have almost every color offered in my collection. They are high quality and come in beautiful colors. I can't recommend them highly enough. December 27, 2007, 8:56 am

  Doesn't wear off in corners

  After trying about 15 different eyeliners, I have finally found one to settle on! The criteria? An eyeliner that lines the inner rim of my lids well AND doesn't smudge off in the corners - which makes you look like you lined the middle of your bottom lid and that's it. I have been using it for about 2 months now and coul...dn't be happier. Plus, there is a HUGE selection of shades. Most tasteful... some very bold. April 21, 2008, 3:53 pm

  Love to Hate

  This eye pencil looks great in the morning after I put it on but by the end of the day it has smeared. So my favorite trick is to take my favorite mac brush and smudge 'Forever Green' a little and that way it looks good all day. April 28, 2008, 6:03 pm

  Smolder

  Smolder is my #1 all-time favorite black liner! It goes on precisely and smudges like a dream...but only when you want it to! It lasts all day on my waterline (which is a hard task with my watery eyes, let me tell you!) and doesn't budge from my eyelids.   Won't stay put

  I own this in Smolder, which is black. This eye liner migrates on me no matter what I do. My eye area is just much to oily for this, I guess. Might recommend to those those have zero oil in the eye area, as its got great pigmentation and is highly blendable. February 6, 2008, 6:55 pm

  Best eyeliner

  Smearing Smolder!

  Amazing pigmentation? Check. Precise lining? Check. Smears? Double check. I tried MAC's eye kohl in Smolder and to be honest, it is an amazing product - for those who don't have oily skin around the eyes. I'm one of the unfortunate ones who have oily skin on their eyes and this product won't stay put. When I apply this on m...y upper lid, it smears towards my tearducts and when I apply this to my waterline it gives me raccoon eyes. The good news is that, if you don't have oily skin, this product will work wonders on you! It is so pigmented and it produces such a precise line; it also creates a sexy smoky-eyed look. However, be ready to shelf out some cash, because for one of these babies its fifteen bucks. Just to let you know ... it's worth it! October 4, 2009, 8:23 pm

  Smoothest eyeliner EVER

  I love, love, love this eyeliner. It is soft enough to go on smoothly, but stays on without smudging. It comes in lots of colors so you can go from natural to dramatic very easily. Packaging is very straightforward and easy to handle. May 14, 2009, 3:26 pm
