Lush Bubble Bars Reviews

Love them!
They have lots of great scents, they make TONS of bubbles, and leave your skin feeling really nice. They are a bit spendy but each bar can be broken into 2-4 pieces for that many baths. I'm a huge fan of these. — 1 year, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

The Comforter Bubble Bar makes bath time fun
I tried a few different kinds of Lush Bath Bombs and Moisturisers, but frankly I do not like enough any of them to re-purchase. Then, I met The Comforter Bubble Bar. It comes in a great size, I break into 4 pieces so I can get four baths out of the one bar. It produces a good amount of bubbles, and I like the blackcurrant scent. The water turns funky pink! It does not give me any skin benefit except it makes my skin smell good temporarily, and I don't use this one for relaxation, but for fun. I have not tried any other bubble bars, but the Comforter does lift my mood and spirits. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Fun, but...
I love Lush bath products and they have some great scents, but I can't help noticing the bubbles really don't have much staying power. When I take a Lush bath, it's a long one so it would be great if the bubbles could stick around longer. Update: I found this is only true of SOME of their bubble bars. I had terrible luck with French Kiss, but the Comforter and Rose Jam are both amazing with great scent and lots of long-lasting bubbles. I tried Candy Mountain (a seasonal product) and the bubbles were amazing but I hated the scent. Way too sweet (my fault--Candy is part of the name, I should have known, but it was an impulse buy from the "buy one, get one free" sale). — 4 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I wish I could take baths everyday now!
In addition to being travel-friendly, large so you can break it into chunks for multiple baths, the strong scents even in the tub, turning the water beautiful colours, these are great room deodorizers. XD The bubble bars make the water soft, and never before have I stayed in the tub for almost an hour. — 4 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

A Bubbley Good Time
I love these for taking a nice relaxing bubble bath. I have recieved many different ones as gifts and they've all been great. The smell is wonderful and I love the bubbles. In a regular bath tub I usually use the whole thing to get a good amount of bubbles going. However, in a whirlpool type tub they should be cut down to a small size, made the mistake of using too much once and was nearly drowning in bubbles! LOL. — 3 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Don't Waste Your Bar -- Learn How to Maximize the Bubbles
I used to work at Lush and we'd get people coming back into the store, upset that they'd wasted $12 on a single bath. First of all, if used properly, an entire bubble bar is going to give you so many bubbles that you wouldn't be able to sit in your bath. Obviously we'd get some people who would literally throw the whole thing in the bottom, but then we'd also get people who knew to crumble and still wound up with not much of an effect. The best method that I've tried is as follows: get one of those potpourri satchels that are sort of gauzy and have a ribbon-tie to tighten up the top. Put a small chunk of the bubble bar inside -- no more than about a square inch. It's better if you leave it solid, but you can crumble it if you prefer. Then put the mouth of the bag over the bathtub faucet and tie the ribbon around the neck. Turn on the water and let it flow through the bag at a fairly full blast. You will wind up with a TON of bubbles from a very small piece and will have a lot of the bar left over for future baths. My favorite is The Comforter -- gorgeous blackberry scent that tinges the bubbles a faint pink. — 5 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

These are fun!
They are pricey but I usually cut them in 4 pieces. You have to crumble them under the runnning water. The bubbles and scents are great but they don't last very long. I love that they have seasonal products, just bought the gingerbread house for Christmas. Can't wait to try it out! — 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

LOVE THEM
I lve the Comforter bubble bar! I cut it into 6 pieces and get a large amount of bubbles. When used with the Think Pink bath bomb ( now known as the pink bath bomb ) it makes the water a hot pink color, and just makes bath time fun! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Favorite Bath Product
The bubble bars from Lush are spectacular. I especially love the Comforter bar; I just crumble a little bit off and toss it under the stream as the tub is filling up. The bubbles are rich and plentiful, even for a small pinch, and the water becomes soft with a slight pink tint. I love to use it with my Space Girl bath bomb (the fragrances of the two compliment each other well) for sparkly, soothing relaxation. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
