GREEEAAATT

I apply loose powder over my foundation with this brush. It sheds a little, but all brushes do at some point. I also use this brush to apply my blush

Good for blush

This brush is small and dense enought to apply blush color to the cheeks and it goes on smoothly. I do not recommend it for powder application since it's too small and it would take long to apply on the whole face.

Awesome brush when bought individually, not as part of a set

MAC brushes that are sold individually all year around are excellent quality! I've had many of mine, including this 129 brush, for over 3 years and it's still as soft and nice as ever, applying my products smoothly and evenly. One word of caution - when you buy MAC brushes as part of a set, for example the holiday sets, sometimes they are not the same quality. Regular MAC brushes are hand made a...read morend made of virgin hair which makes them incredibly soft and smooth. Some of the sets of brushes sell for much cheaper, but it is because those limited edition brushes are machine made and not made of virgin hairs, which can make them scratchy (especially if you're used to the awesome standard MAC brushes!). Just a word of caution - sounds like this may be what one of the other reviewers experienced.

MAC BRUSHES

I absolutely love my MAC BRUSHES--especially the Powder/Blush Brush. They blend and smooth to perfection and wash beautifully. I have had mine for over 3 years and they look brand new although I use them each and every day. Soft and supple to create that perfect look.

pleased and been using for about 7 years

I use this brush for blush only, and have been very pleased. I have used it for MAC and BareMinerals.

Stiff

I bought a set of M.A.C brushes and am not very happy with the powder/blush brush. It's stiff and pokes me when I use it. My sister has the same brush and hers is like velvet. She said the brushes are not made as well as they used to be. She would know she has been uses M.A.C for so long! My eye brushes are good but pass on this one.
