  Tis Great!

  I love my handy mix mason pearson brush so much. I am a black woman with natural hair and this is the only brush I have used that will get all the way through my hair to my scalp. It feels like a scalp massage every time I use it and it doesn't pull or break my hair. My hair softer and looks shinier after I brush.   I am so glad I bought this brush. I have had it for about 7 years now and it is still good as new. My hair is thick but fine. Glides easily through my hair without snagging, pulling or breaking. When cared for as directed this brush will last indefinitely. May 20, 2008, 3:14 pm

  The Best ever

  I have been using Mason Pearson brushes for over 20 years. It is the only one I would ever consider using as it detangles my hair without pulling it out. My daughter has very thick and long hair and it has worked the best for her also. February 9, 2008, 11:06 am

  Cannot live without this vital staple

  This hairbrush is the vital key essential in my bathroom, bag, suitcase, etc. It is perfect for all hair types - my fine and delicate hair; plus my daughter's thicker, curly hair. We each have several: large one for the bathroom, small one for handbag; another small one in my travel bag ready to go. It is indispensable. February 2, 2008, 12:15 am

  Must-have if you have long hair!

  This brush works wonders on long hair! The bristles don't snag- and because it is a mixture of boar bristles and synthetic it evenly disperses your hair's natural oils over your hair so you have beautiful, shiny, perfect hair evertime.   Popular Brush is the best beauty investment I ever made.

  This hairbrush is the single best beauty investment I ever made. At the time I bought it, I thought..."I must be crazy to spend this much on a hairbrush"! But, 10 years later, it is still as good as new. It shines and smooths your hair with ever stroak, but is gentle. Just make sure you follow the care instruct...ions enclosed with the brush and do not soak in water. August 31, 2009, 11:53 am

  Great Brush

  My favorite brush!! I have found it works wonders on both straight and curly hair (I have daughters, one with each type). It doesn't pull or tear hair but at the same time is so effective. Love it!! August 4, 2009, 12:49 pm

  I've used Mason Pearson brushes since I was in high school courtesy of my Mom. In college I lost my brush and got a similar looking brush that wasn't Mason Pearson. What a difference!!!! I have very, very, very long hair that ALWAYS tangles. And, while my hair is thin there's alot of it so it can be extremely hard to get a ...brush through it. This is my favorite Mason Pearson brush for my type hair. It breezes through the tangles and leaves my hair perfect no matter how I'm styling it. These brushes (if cared for according to their directions) last just about forever. So it's a wonderful value for the price. My Mom also uses this same style Mason Pearson brush and she has short, thick hair. She loves hers as well. As a note, I have a few different styles of Mason Pearson brushes: the pocket size and the "detangler" ( which is just nylon bristles). Both these styles work well also. But for my hair type the pocket brush is too small and takes forever to get through my mane and the plain nylon bristles just don't seem to work as well. I don't know why. The Popular Bristle and Nylon Brush is hands down MY favorite. But it might depend on hair type. So, if this style doesn't work the best for you .... don't give up on Mason Pearson. Another style might just suit you better. I know the price tag is scary.... but seriously these brushes last years upon years and you really don't need another brush in your arsenal. they're very easy to care for and even come with their own cleaning brush. I give this brush an honorary 11! May 14, 2009, 2:41 am
