There's no denying that this is a very good facial moisturizer, but its exorbitant price tag made me knock a few stars off its rating. For eighty dollars I expect great things, and this moisturizer didn't quite deliver. It didn't have SPF, and I found the smell to be a bit too strong and long-lasting. Also, its effects don't last. It goes on nice and light and your skin looks and feels significantly more hydrated, but after an hour my super dry skin started peeling again. I received several free samples of this product at the Bobbi Brown counter, and I will not be purchasing the full size when they run out. If you have an extra 80 clams lying around, I recommend it. Otherwise, you can find a moisturizer that is just as good and half the price. — 3 years, 7 months ago

Good for Night Use

I received a good sized sample of this face balm and have been using it at night as a "layer" over my regular face lotion. It is much too heavy for daytime use on my normal/oily skin. Dry and very dry skin will benefit from this balm. Because it's meant for drier skins I probably won't be purchasing it once the sample is finished. The consistency is very thick and emollient. A little goes a long way. — 7 months ago
