This velvety-smooth eye shadow has an ideal amount of shimmer that's not at all glittery. It adds a sheen to your lids that's eye-catching, but not over-the-top shiny. (Still, this shimmer is not ideal for mature skin.) The powder applies and blends easily, and doesn't crumble onto your cheeks throughout the day. It comes in a nice range of shades (17) and a big size that's larger than those of competitors, which kind of justifies the price tag.

wanted to love
I got this in a special palette and wanted to love all of the beautiful colors, but something was missing. It seemed like I got a whole lot of shimmer and not much pigment. I have had this a while not even sure why I have kept it other than the fact that I don't like wasting money. Great colors!
This is a high quality silky fine powder that applies and blends beautifully. It is well pigmented. It does not irritate. It has a subtle shimmer that brightens. This eye shadow is a bit expensive, but Bobbi Brown really has a masterful eye for color. I have rose gold and it is a fabulous, flattering color natural wine pink color.
