Not quite the favourite ...

by yellowonblue (14 reviews)
Like the title says, this balm is quiet good, but it's definitely not "favourite" status. This has a wonderful glide, and is quite shiny -- almost to the point where I would call it a lip gloss, not a lip balm. It's also quite goopy and thick, which, again, makes me think of lip gloss. It smells lovely, like almond cookies, and is very sweet tasting. Despite all the softening vitamins, I don't think this made my lips any softer than my regular ol' Neutrogena lip balm.10/17/2007

    My ultimate Fave lip gloss!

December 27, 2007, 11:58 am I go EVERYWHERE with my lip gloss. I NEVER had any problems with them smelling funny. But I do know that if you leave them in your hot car, they can be runny and seperate. But after cooling down, it's back to normal. I have these everywhere!!! In my bag, at work, in my car. I usually buy them in bulk because NO ONE in HI sells them. So I have a family member that buys them for me in bulk and ships it over. These are the bomb lip gloss...it's not sticky, the menthol can help freshen your breathe and they come in different colors and flavors. It lasts me forever and I can't live without them! CAN'T live without it

Can't get enough of this balm. I have it in three of the tints (1136, 1137, and 1138) and all of them have the PERFECT amount of color- a sheer wash- while also tasting wonderful, making my lips tingle in a good way, and making them very shiny. I have it in three of the tints (1136, 1137, and 1138) and all of them have the PERFECT amount of color- a sheer wash- while also tasting wonderful, making my lips tingle in a good way, and making them very shiny. This is probably the first lip gloss that I lost and actually felt compelled to go repurchase because I couldn't bear to live without it. I started out with one (a gift from a wise friend/fellow product junkie), and when i lost it, I went and purchased 4-thankfully it was during one of B&BW's many sales. This way, if I ever lose one, I will still have 3 left. One piece of advice: it only takes a tiny bit to cover your lips. Tiny. Usually when i let friends use it they still completely overapply it despite my warnings. That being said, if you find yourself near a B&BW, go in and try a tester of this stuff-you probably will regret not trying it sooner (when I went to repurchase mine, I was with a friend who had never tried it and she left with two and is still addicted). I actually believe B&BW's claim that this is the country's best-selling lipgloss because it is just THAT good. October 18, 2007, 3:43 pm

    Great Product

January 17, 2008, 7:23 pm I truly believe that this lip balm is named "My Favorite" for a reason. The smell is delicious, and the formula very emoillient. This is the last thing to touch my lips at night, and I awake with soft and smooth lips every morning with it's help. When I feel that I need a little extra relief from dryness during the day, I will dab it over my lipstick and get a glossy glow from it too. I don't think I have been into Bath and Body Works without picking up another (or extra) tube. January 17, 2008, 7:23 pm

    Turns a funny smell

    by queenofthewest (7 reviews)
This initially is a great lip gloss- minty and shiny. Yet, I have had two tubes turn within 2 months of purchase. The gloss turns a rancid smell and appears to separate. If you buy this, use it fast. December 11, 2007, 3:44 pm

Lip gloss & breath freshener rolled into one!

    by Nette22 (7 reviews)
I really like the "neutral" tint. Adds a bit of shine to any lipstick or you can wear it alone for a great natural shine on your lips. You don't need to add much of this gloss to give your lips some shine. And you can't go wrong with the added minty flavor and scent that goes with this lip gloss. December 7, 2007, 2:04 am
