I have ordered a few of these over the years, and they are always a disappointment. Avon just does not have good powder eye shadows. They are always too light and the colors always seem . . . its hard to describe, really. Primary, elementary? Like a box of Crayola crayons is the best way to describe it. The best thing about Avon is that you don't waste too much money when you end up not using the product and chunking it in the trash. Not speaking about all Avon -- some of its good stuff. Its purely wonderful how it gives you the different variations of the same shade.... it gives you just enough so that the color works up to its' POW! It is also very affordable, which is nice for those individuals who can't afford over $10 for eyeshadow. I love how it looks and have about 4 different quads right now! I recommend it to anyone who wants something to match and blend gracefully, but gives one enough "oomph" for a night on the town! April 22, 2008, 6:02 pm

I really love this eye shadow. The colors are all beautiful and blend together perfectly! The color glides on smooth and stays put all day. No fading, creasing, or smearing! I have every set that flatters my skin tone. I have also noticed that after several uses the shadow does not break up in the contatiner. Who wants to waste money having to replace your favorite colors when they break up (while there is still plenty to use) and fall out every where? These shadow sets are wonderful! I bought this product thinking that it was talc-free which I laterfound out that it is not. Also, this product is touted as being fragrance-free however I did detect a scent to this product, anyhow.
Also, the middle shades in the quad go on real frosty. However, all of the shades in the quad do go on intense, which will make your eyes get noticed, but only in a bad way. November 25, 2007, 7:52 am
