I had two and was disappointed.
The pigmenation is low/average.Some shades are even a bit chalky. I do like the color combos that it comes with though. The packaging is kind of bulky for the amount of product. If you're new to makeup and like it subtle, these might be okay. Definitely use a good eye primer with it though. LOVE these!
The packaging had changed I guess since they took this picture...but, what I like the most is that they DON"T crease or fade. I have tried almost everything out there, and these are the best I have found! Lots of options
There are lots of color choices here. The colors are less pigmented than the other style quads and I find the shape of the quads to be a bit difficult to use. you have some options here
okay, i will agree you do have some shades in the shadows that are very sheer and very light, but you have to realize alot of ladies are looking for something subtle for work, and some people are imtimidated by overly bold or hard to apply/blend/wear colors. most avon shadows are compatible with each other, easy to blend and in the 'safe for everyone, all the time' type of color and finishs. that said, you will find a few really bold stand out shades too, and you will never spend alot on any of them. the formulas are gentle, and vary in pigmentation, shimmer and matte both being equal quality. the quads all have a mix of shimmer and matte, sheer and bold shades in a coordinating family set, a mirror and a little sponge applicator, and avon recently revamped the whole line, with a new compact and even better formula, with the same shades and some new ones. give this line a chance! — 3 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I love the colors that they put together, it gives me ideas for the other products I have. Nice texture. Not up to expectations
I got the smokey eye and khaki quad, and neither product had me leaping for joy. The shadows are very hard and it takes forever to get enough powder if you are using a brush. If you use a sponge applicator, the color comes out way to heavy. it doesn't blend well and doesn't have very good staying power. The pigments are pretty week and the powder as a scratchy feeling to it. Too Sheer
I've ordered these a few times when the price was great, and somehow they've still never really proven to be worth it. The colors - unless they're very deep shades - go on too light. I have to layer them more than shadow should have to be layered, which feels like a waste of time. That time-wasting feeling is exacerbated by the fact that the shadow - no matter how deep the shade - fades throughout the day. Eyeshadow is NOT something I expect to have to reapply as the day goes by. Don't Buy Ladies!
I bought this product thinking that it was talc-free which I laterfound out that it is not. Also, this product is touted as being fragrance-free however I did detect a scent to this product, anyhow. Also, the middle shades in the quad go on real frosty. No color payoff
I purchased of these quads and I was extremely disappointed with this product. While the color combinations look beautiful in the package they did not show up on my eyelids. I tried brushes, those little foam applicators and even tried them wet but they have no color to them. They remind me of the makeup kits I used to recieve as gifts when I was small. They looked pretty but never showed up on my face. Maybe these would work for young girls just getting inot makeup but for those of us makeup addicts these were a huge disappointment, I suppose these will just sit in makeup shelf until I give them away or throw them out.
