Finding a makeup remover that fully strips off mascara, even the waterproof kind, without leaving your eye area red or eyesight blurry is a chore. This half-oil, half-water-looking one does take it all off without irritation if you swipe gently, but it's a bit greasy. I've yet to discover a totally slick-free remover that really works (Nivea Visage comes close), and if waking up with raccoon eyes is the trade off, I'll settle for the slightly oily residue.

    I've tried so many different eye makeup removal products and this product is absolutely wonderful. The downfall is that it'll leave your eye oily for a minute. But I have very sensitive eyes, even swimming in a pool grow irritation bumps on my eyelids. What's great about this product is that I didn't wake up with racoon eye...s and I didn't have to use eyedrops everytime I'm done using it. I highly recommend it!! September 3, 2008, 9:59 am

    I have a big bottle of Bi-facil in my closet and I have used it maybe 6 times. I've got to tell the truth, people. A $1.98 bottle of Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil works just as well. December 30, 2007, 12:21 pm

    Great Remover - Terrible Bottle

    The Lancome Eye Makeup Remover is one of the best products I have used to remove the makeup around my eye area including mascara. You only have to use a little for each eye. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and does not irritate the eye. However, I am really disappointed with the bottle. It leaks when traveling. I woul...d not recommend anyone purchasing this product until the problem is corrected. The sample bottle that is given in most gifts with purchase does not leak. I have contacted the company and do not any response. When I mentioned it to the counter assistant at the Macy's in Chicago, the woman said, "Oh, Too bad." I also mentioned it to a Lancome representative at the Lancome store on Columbus Ave in NYC and that gentleman did not care either. His response caused my shopping companion to not purchase anything and to never return to that store. It was if Lancome did not care that everything in my suitcase was soiled due to their leaking product. November 29, 2007, 3:05 pm

    You have to shake this eye makeup remover to get the oil and other cleansing solution to work together. Once you do that, grab a cotton pad and use just a little of this eye makeup remover and you will see even your waterproof makeup go bye-bye! The packaging is very convenient for travelling as the bottle is plastic. My on...ly issue is the cost. It is almost $30 a bottle where I live and I can not justify buying 1 bottle every month. A good time to buy this item is when Lancome has a bonus because you then get to try a lot of their new items as well! May 21, 2008, 1:40 am

    I am hooked on Lancome's eye makeup remover! Using this product I don't have to beat my eyes up scrubbing off waterproof mascara, and no oily residue is left either. My eyes feel soothed after using this. I've tried other less expensive products but they don't compare. The less expensive products either gunk my lashes up (f...orget trying to read in bed after using those) or irritate because they don't work as well. I wish the price was a little less, but this is my one product that can't seem to be replaced by anything less- it's worth it. January 30, 2008, 4:05 pm

    Removes it all

    Love this remover. Its not greasy but not drying. Removes even the toughest mascara and leaves your eye feeling great, but not oily. Oily doesn't work for me. It never seems to come off even after washing and then your make up doesn't stay on....event the next day. This is definitely the right combo to remove touch make... up without producing a heavy oily effect. Leaves sking around you eyes and face feeling good. May 15, 2008, 7:25 pm

    Gets Off Even The Stubbornest Makeup

    Could an eye makeup remover really remove waterproof mascara, I wondered as I unscrewed the cap on this bottle. Well, the results are in and it's a resounding YES. I tested this with Diorshow Waterproof Mascara, which is seriously tough to take off, and it came off instantly. It's non-drying, non-irritating and smells reall...y good as well. I also like that you only need a tiny drop and it will take off everything on your eyes! Definitely worth the money. May 12, 2008, 2:19 pm

    I've always read great reviews of this eye makeup remover, but I can't say I agree. It never fully removed my eye makeup and I found it to be very greasy. I had to use a good amount of it, and that didn't even take everything off. To be fair, I've had this problem with a couple other oil-based eye makeup removers before, so... I'm not totally blaming Lancome. February 26, 2008, 6:51 pm

    Love this stuff...

    My eyes are sensitive to every makeup remover I have ever tried. Bi-Facil, however, does not sting, burn, or make me think twice about putting on makeup in the first place for fear of the removal nightmare to come. It is actually soothing to my skin and it takes off mascara without a lot of rubbing. It does have a slight...ly oily feel, but since it is mixed with water (shake it up before you use it) it doesn't fell heavy and greasy like a fully oil based remover. I Love it!!!     worth it!

    This is by far the best eyemakeup remover ever!! I have tried hundreds over the years and I keep coming back to this one. It takes everything off, even waterproof without lash loss or pulling. I also find that after a few weeks it actually helps to \"repair\" my lashes from all the other removers that riped my l...ashes out. It\'s expensive....but worth every penny!
