I prefer my body lotion to be unscented or lightly scented. But I don't mind this vanilla scent. Oh, yes, there are other vanilla scented lotions, but St Ives products are so affordable and easy to find. i never treid this before i saw all these great reviews! i use st ives other lotions and body wash with great success, and i am always pleased by the very affordable price. this smells like vanilla cake, ice cream and frosting all at once. its strong and very sweet so somedays [if there is no vanilla note in my perfume that day] i cant wear it, unless i think the vanilla would mingle well with the other scent. for example, i have a scent called 'absinthe', which smells very strong, and smoky and the vanilla adds a warm, familiar under current to that. the lotion itself leaves your skin soft and isnt greasy, but you might need a stronger formula for severe dry skin. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful
