If you don't want to spring for Nexxus Therappe, this milky, pearlescent shampoo works almost as well (although the flip-cap bottle won't look as nice in the shower). Nexxus has a leg up with more fatty acids and avocado oil, but Suave contains many common or comparable ingredients like silk amino acids and honey that clean and moisturize without flattening hair. Both shampoos have coconut fragrance, bubbly surfactants and chemicals that can irritate and dry some sensitive scalps.

    Great Price, great product

    Again, I have to focus on the Mommy-appeal of this product. It's not at all pricey so you won't feel guilty for getting something just for you. It works as well as the salon products at a fraction of the price! I have long hair that is nearly to my knees so I have to use A LOT of shampoo May 30, 2008, 10:55 am

    Great for long hair

    I love Suave Professional Products. I can use them and not only does my hair look and smell great, but it is very easy to brush through my hair with the use of their conditioners. Many other brands I can't say the same about. I have been using these products for over a year now. Great Price. Great Value. May 19, 2008, 4:55 pm

    This shampoo is a very good quality, living up to its claim, it leaves my hair feeling clean, and looking shiny. I wash my hair every day, so I know it last that long. Excellent value for the money. Packaging works well. May 6, 2008, 4:09 am

    Great shampoo for an awesome price.

    My entire family uses this shampoo, including my 9-year-old daughter who has a very sensitive scapl. It moisturizes great and has a pleasant sent that we all like. It leaves my daughters' hair soft and squeaky clean. It's a regular purchase in our house. April 23, 2008, 9:08 am

    I think their advertising says it. You get the same performance of more expensive shampoo but at a much lower price. I'd rather spend that money elsewhere. The product does what it should. My hair is clean and smells good. It is not overly dry. It compares well to other more expensive products. April 23, 2008, 4:51 am

    Suave Pro Humectant Shampoo

    I usually don't use the same shampoo everyday. The reason is, to let my hair smell good in different ways, each day. This product is pretty awesome for its low price. Suave products are usually bought by people like me, who like good QUALITY, and even yet good PRICE. It's like 2 in 1 bottle! Hehe March 25, 2008, 1:54 pm

    why pay more?

    I usually don't use suave shampoos but this one changed my mind. It smells great! I love getting a wiff of my hair during the day! It cleans and conditions well. So ,I ask, why pay the outrageous prices when you can pay a fraction for great quality!? I can afford to stock all my bathrooms with it. February 15, 2008, 6:56 am

    Better than the really cheap Suave shampoos

    I bought this because it was on sale at Target. At first I was a little skeptical because I have used Suave shampoos that were really drying, but this was good and didn't dry the crap out my hair and smells pretty good. September 2, 2008, 2:25 pm
