The only eye remover to use!

    by Daners (18 reviews)
I've used this product for years and love it!! I have sensitive skin and eyes and this is the only eye makeup remover that has never bothered my eyes. I used it when I wore contacts, and had no problems after having Lasik eye surgery. I agree with another user that flipping the pads over when you first open the container wi...ll make the excess liquid rehydrate the the pads that were on top. I also bought the smaller travel version and replace them as needed, and they've never dried out beyond use. January 2, 2008, 10:11 pm

    The Best Yet!

    by MDorsey (3 reviews)
This is the one eye makeup remover I have remained loyal to. Its easy and works well especially if you hold it on for a few seconds and then wipe your eye makeup off. It also leaves no residue! I have found though, upon intially opening it, the top few pads are a bit dry. If you flip the stack of pads putting those original...ly on the bottom on the top, the solution drains back evenly through them all again. December 13, 2007, 12:29 pm

How did I live without these things?

    by Krisseroo (8 reviews)
I bought these makeup remover pads after seeing them in Allure's 2007 best of beauty, and I'm so glad that I found them! The price is dirt cheap for the amount of pads that you get, and the pads themselves are amaaaazing. They're just the right size to get my makeup off of both eyes with just one pad, and they're oil-free ...so they don't leave my eyes all greasy. It just takes a swipe or two and they get everything off my eyes- mascara, eyeliner, and shadow. Plus they're really thin so I don't feel like I'm being super wasteful when I throw them out after use. November 25, 2007, 11:59 pm

The oil-free pads are amazing. The moisturizing, not so great

    by good2st (7 reviews)
Be sure to get the "oil-free" pads: the moisturizing kind leave your eyes feeling very oily (it's almost "slippery"), even after you rinse your eyes with water. But these pads in general do an AMAZING job of removing mascara and liner--both liquid and pencil. One swipe will usually get rid of most of t...he make-up, and it leaves no smudges or proof that you were ever even wearing make-up. November 14, 2007, 9:42 pm

Decent but not great for long-lasting mascara

    by superann (20 reviews)

Removes powder eye makeup in a couple of swipes and liquid eyeliner in a couple more, but doesn't do a great job with the long-lasting mascara I use (discontinued Revlon Colorstay Lash Tint). The pads will remove some of it, but not all of it and not without some elbow grease. No oily after feel. But because other makeup re...movers are more effective, I don't use these except for when I'm feeling reeaally lazy and don't mind going to sleep with some leftover mascara on. Doesn't get out waterproof makeup that well

I LOVE these eye makeup remover pads becaue they are so convenient and work pretty well. As for its strength, I would say that the lancome eye makeup remover is better at getting waterproof eye makeup off, but I still use this because it's so much more convenient. I'm still using the one in the bottle of the old design, but... I'm assuming the product is the same and they just changed the packaging. These truly are the best eye makeup remover pads I have come across so far. May 7, 2008, 8:50 pm

I have used this for years. Not so great at taking off waterproof make-up. Awesome when you mess up your shadow...if you fold it in quarters the pad makes a perfect little tool to fix little oppsies. I am prone to break outs and have never had a problem with this in the probably 10 years I have been using it. This compa...ny does not test on animals. February 21, 2008, 6:52 pm

    LOVE these!

    by EricaB (32 reviews)
I have used these eye makeup remover pads for like 2 years now, and I can honestly say that they are the greatest and easiest way to get eyemake up off! The fact that the pads are pre-soaked in the remover takes out the step of having to use a cotton ball and wasting half of the bottle of makeup remover while pouring it on...to the cotton. And the pads work well to actually get the makeup off, I wear a good amount of eye makeup everyday and nothing else I have tried works better. November 27, 2007, 10:30 am

    So so...

    by RosyLu (5 reviews)
I'm trying this product for the first time, and I find myself not too happy with its effectiveness on removing waterproof mascara. Eyeshadow and brow pencil comes off easily but I gave to tug in order for the mascara and liquid eyeliner to come off. I will try flipping the stack of pads to see if that helps moisten the pa...ds evenly because the top ones are kinda dry... June 30, 2009, 2:28 pm

I really liked this. I wish the pads were a little bigger though. They have a fresh smell and take makeup off pretty effortlessly. I do not use waterproof make up, so I don't know how well it would work with that though. June 2, 2008, 4:28 am
